Fair idea, useless.
Pretty fair idea, if it worked as I wished it would. Besides the issue mentioned before regarding where the ONoff or reset buttons are located or the cheap construction (battery cover does not stay in place), the red light is an indicator of what specifically? It does not signal anything, other than “you just turned me on, now I will remain dark, good luck”.
It would be really useful if it were connected to Alexa or Google and you can check it remotely.
Also, 20lbs tanks rest on the central ring in the bottom, so this scale cannot be fitted under the grill or where it is being used, you have to take the tank off and weight it.
I paid 8$ at REI clearance items. I think I paid too much. Do a focus group before producing it. Otherwise it’s a bad waste of moneys.

Doesn’t work with iPhone
My old scale worked reasonably well then stopped recognizing the presence of a tank. Thought it was broken so ordered a new one. Did the same thing. Found out from seller that there are issues with iPhone. Sending it back.
Not Working!!!
Batteries are new, full charge showing, scale and app are connected but shows “no tank or tank is empty” when tank is full. Buyer beware!!!!!!

The battery is at 100% and the scale is connected to Bluetooth. But it claims there’s no tank or the tank is empty! This is useless.
User friendly and great design!
This app has an incredibly clean design that makes it super user friendly. Has options for 20, 30, and 40 lb cylinders. Measuring my tanks propane levels has never been so easy!
Inaccurate readings
Tried with 3 different tanks, the were all just filled, app showed them half full. Weighed them with a regular scale and after subtracting the Tare Weight (TW) inscribed on the tank they were actually full. The app has no settings, no calibration, very bare bones app. Does not work. Don’t waste your money and time.

Poorly designed
So here’s my problem. You have to Turn the scale off after each use. The switch is UNDER the scale and the heavy tank. You lift off the tank and remove the scale to turn it off each time. By that time you know how heavy the tank is. Not convenient at all. I suggest a tank with a gauge is better. These tanks are too cumbersome to be lifting.

Beware! 30lb and 40lb tank features cost extra!
When you buy the scale and download the app they advertise that it supports 20, 30, and 40lb tanks. What they don’t tell you is that they charge $1.99 in-app to turn on access to read the 30lb and 40lb tanks. Only 20lb tank readings are included. This is very slimy at best, and probably fraudulent advertising. Beware!
