Terrible update
I’ve been using Parker’s smart probes for years and they were the best gauge set I’ve owned. However with this new app update a perfect tool has been ruined. The old app was perfect for field diagnostics. All the information was laid out perfectly. This upgrade is like taking an iPhone and trading it in for a Nokia brick phone.

Sporlan seems to have dropped interest in this product
I really liked this set when they first came out. I actually purchased a second set for back up or on larger jobs. The original app was reasonably good and replicated a standard gauge set with calculations done for you. This new app totally sucks rendering them a bigger PIA than it’s worth. On top of that I discovered ( after warranty )the second set was out of calibration more than can be corrected for in the app. I contacted Sporlan who despite the set looking like new with clearly little use who refused to do anything for me. I primarily use the Fieldpiece set which I am very happy with. I wouldn’t purchase anything more than a dryer from Sporlan in the future!

Where’s the older version
This new version is absolute garbage. What’s wrong with people? They know better this co. To bad. Getting new digital sensors but Sporlan won’t be them. Built great but absolutely worthless interface. Work

Very bad tool now
I’ve used these for over 10 years went to use them yesterday. Had to get a new app had to configure everything and then what I saw was just garbage. I spent so much money on these tools 10 years ago. I can’t even imagine what they are today. They have totally ruined the way I would use this never can understand people that do this. Definitely nobody that works in the field.

Terrible
I’ve never typed up a review about an app before but this one deserves a review. I’ve used my Sporlan gauges for years with no issues especially through the old app. I could not complain about the app it was great but now this “New and approved” app sucks
Connective sucks, it makes the wireless gauges useless and I use them a lot on PM’s or to do a quick check on a unit without having to bring out my manifold.
This new app is complex and for first time users I could see how they might get lost in the app. Like I said earlier the app won’t connect to gauges which is the number one purpose for the gauges.
The app design is a mess I find myself messing with the app and navigating longer than I need to. The new app waste my time when I’m on a service call.
Developers if you read this please make the app plug and play and easy to use. There was no need to update it to this P.O.S

Useless
Garbage
Fix this!
My smart service tools are the only digital gages I have. I like them because they do not have hoses so they can be shut in equipment and record and trend data. They are also compact and robust. You could set an I pad nearby and watch the graph and live data and find problems easily missed by others. It WAS top notch. Today I get them out and have to update app because old one wouldn’t load. With the new update… I’m about to toss these in the trash as they have successfully created a terrible app that is absolutely not field friendly. What a shame.

Why reinvent the wheel
This new app is not good. It makes me not want to use my very expensive tool. You should’ve just updated the old app and kept the same comcept. Do better. Please.

This is a new update for an app I have used for many years and they have absolutely destroyed one of the most cutting edge and intelligent, wireless smart refrigeration systems out there.
The way the app is now it is absolutely unusable, and I will have to switch it to another system. This is wildly, disappointing, and frankly, you’re responsible to do your professionals to rely on these tools. I cannot express enough how angry I am that they absolutely sabotage this app and burned it to the ground. It took away the old app to make sure nobody could use this tool.

A good thing gone Bad
This app used to be awesome, simple and easy to use. I did not have to create a Job every time I wanted to check pressures. Now it’s just a good thing gone bad. You are supposed to improve the app, not downgrade it. I’m now going to put my sporlans up for sale and buy Field Piece.
Why degrade?
Used this app for years, liked the large screen display. This is a degraded version !
Horrible new app
I can’t you ruined a perfectly simple to use app. Most of us don’t have time to create new jobs and save, I just want to connect the probes get my measurements and move on…. Really hope you people fix this app until then I’ll use my Fieldpiece probes

HORRIBLE!
Way to ruin a good thing. I have had my Sporlan Smart Service Probes for years now and today I get surprised and completely caught off guard when I went to use the perfectly good app I’ve been used to. The new app looks like it was developed by a 5th grader and is complete garbage. Please bring the old app back. Honestly I probably won’t even wait around for that. I’m going to be switching to Fieldpiece now.

After big up date all probes now work with I pad pro 9.7,
iPad Pro 9.7 is under investigation
It seems Apple has an issue with the iPad Pro 9.7. I understand that this app developer is working with Apple to resolve the issue. All other devices work great though!
