Smart Tide: Tide Chart & Times

Smart Tide goes global, and gets a new name. NEW NAME "Tide Current" read as tidal current — the horizontal flow of water, which this app has never claimed to compute. It's Smart Tide now. NEW: THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA Thousands of NOAA and Canadian Hydrographic Service stations join the Korean ones. Pick your source, or search across all of them. NEW: FIND STATIONS ON A MAP Station discovery starts from the map instead of a Korea-first list. Saving a station keeps you where you are rather than throwing you to another screen, and your saved stations sit in a row along the top of the map. NEW: METRES OR FEET Switch height, temperature and wind units in one place. The app, the widgets, the watch and your alert thresholds all follow. NEW: KOREAN, ENGLISH AND FRENCH Fully translated, with Korean station names romanized so they read properly in every language. Regions now say which country they're in — "West Sea" alone was not much help outside Korea. FIXED: alerts that could never fire You could set a surfing alert on a station that doesn't measure waves. It would simply stay silent forever. Smart Tide now only offers the alerts a station can actually report, and says why when one isn't available. FIXED: Live Activities disappearing One you started by hand would be shut down a moment later by the automatic schedule. It now leaves your manual ones alone, refreshes more reliably in the background, and leads with the next high or low rather than a current height that could go stale. FIXED: Siri failing on US and Canadian stations "What's the next high tide?" returned "station not found" for anything outside Korea. FIXED: long station names breaking the saved list Names like "Redwood Creek Marker 8" wrapped and squeezed the tide reading onto two lines. ALSO A redrawn chart with a full-width curve and a background that follows the time of day. High and low points marked on the Live Activity chart. Confirmation before deleting a station that has alerts attached. Nearest-station lookup no longer suggests a station on another continent.
