I only used this app because my physical TV remote broke and I needed a temporary solution until a replacement arrived. The free version is extremely frustrating to use because you have to watch frequent ads almost every time you use the remote. On top of that, basic functionality like turning the TV on and off is locked behind a subscription. It works in a pinch, but the constant ads and paywall on essential features make for a poor user experience.

I download this app since my remote went missing all of a sudden and I thought it would work but for some reason I need approval from my tv to use this app. So basically you need a remote for a remote,. And that's just slow because if I had a remote I wouldn't have download the app in the first place.

You will immediately have to x out of advertisements.. oh you want be able to do that ! This app seems to be a way for someone to click bait you into watching a bunch of advertisements. I was not able to change a single channel!!!! I do wish apple would crack down on junk apps that lie to customers.

Another Useless Samsung Product
Samsung Frame physical remote is a total garbage. Instead of giving this app for free as a “solution” for their original flawed remote Samsung demands users to buy it. Finally, to make matters worse after connecting fine the first time now the app just hungs, stuck trying to connect to tv, and never succeeding. Will 100% stay away from any Samsung product (3rd time getting “burned” by their bad product. Done !)

The SmartThings app already has a remote built in, and it’s easier to set up. I’m not sure how this one is much different. Maybe I’m missing something.
