WORK INSTRUCTIONS ON A MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE A schedule used to get one small notes box. It can now carry a full step-by-step procedure with reference photos, so whoever does the work can see how it is done, not just that it is due. • Build the steps on the asset's edit screen: an instruction per step, reference photos, and a link to a manual or spec sheet • Drag to reorder, and choose per schedule whether to show the steps or a single Details paragraph • Steps appear read-only during the inspection, so the technician follows them without disturbing them • Reference photos are cached when a site syncs, so they still open with no signal • Write a procedure once and reuse it: Copy from Another Asset and Set as Default both carry the steps and photos across SET MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES WHILE YOU GENERATE QR CODES Schedules no longer have to be added one asset at a time after the fact. The Generate QR Codes screen asks up front and applies your answer to the whole batch. • If your company already has defaults saved for that asset type, it shows exactly what will be applied • If not, set them up on the spot, copy them from another asset, or use the recommended schedules for that type • Admins and managers can save the choice as the default, so the next batch is a single confirmation • Newly generated assets still count as unused inventory until they are inspected, so your site stats stay accurate CUSTOMER SIGN-OFF ON A WORK ORDER Capture the customer's signature on site, with their printed name, and it works with no signal. • A Customer Approval card on the work order takes the signature and stores it against the job • Signed while offline? It is saved on the device and syncs later, and the work order shows that it is waiting • The signature appears on the work order report and its PDF • Off by default: turn on "Require work order signature" in Company Settings WORK ORDERS OPEN QUICKLY, AND OPEN OFFLINE • Opening a work order took around nine seconds.
