This app is the end-all for all things Go on iOS. Anders is a top notch dev making amazing experiences. Years ago I asked if it would support online play and at the time it wasn’t planned. Well, here it is! OGS baked in! As soon as notifications are part of the deal I’ll be ditching my other online play app. 🙌🏻

Auch in der kostenlosen Version sehr gut nutzbar. Danke an die Entwickler!
Play AI Bug
There seems to be a bug when selecting to Play AI. Sometimes it works, but more than half of the time, I end up a game where I’m playing both the black and white pieces. I end up having to delete the game and start a new one over and over until the AI finally kicks in. It’s a nice app when it works, but it doesn’t always work as expected.

Great app
Really enjoying playing this with my son
Superb
Simply excellent. SmartGo One is exactly what I needed. Working Go problems has dramatically improved my game.
Problems not beginner friendly
I wanted to use the problems to gain a good foundation as a beginner. The first problem I tried labeled “Elementary” was over my head, had no explanatory tips, and when researched in Gemini AI, said requires reading multiple moves ahead and knowing a tactical concept of crane’s nest tesuji. Things I hope to get to someday, but not where I am now. I see only frustration ahead with the problems in this set for a total beginner.

These must be paid reviews the AI/play against computer function dos even work.
Très bon
Beaucoup d’exercices. Manque juste des explications quand on se trompe
A very well thought out app!
As a Go player I’m always looking for apps and resources to improve. This app is well thought out, with an excellent UI and features. Just remembered that the Katago analysis engine will always return values explaining your moves. Read up on how to interpret these values. It’s a good idea to also read up on the rules of Go on Wikipedia. I love that one can buy interactive books and read them from within this app!

The best?
Internet recommends it and it is definitely worth it
Been using for years
Such a well written app. Big fan of all of Anders' go projects. Easily the best option for offline play & study on IOS.
Perfect!
Best go app ever!!!
How to start a game?
New player - no idea how to start a game - intro mentions a + to start, but + nowhere to be found
Top programmiert
Lange keine so gut programmierte App ohne Nonsense gesehen.
