What's New in SmartLink Network

6.2.0

March 7, 2026

6.2.0: ====================== New Features Inspection Lobby Screen — Tapping Inspections now opens a list of all past draft and completed inspections, with search and infinite scroll. Inspection Details Screen — Tapping an inspection shows a details screen with title, status, date, and inspector, plus context-aware action buttons. Edit Completed Inspection Modal — A confirmation modal now appears when editing a completed inspection, letting users choose to edit the existing record, start a new one, or cancel. Resume Draft Inspection — Continuing a draft inspection reloads all previously entered data (issues, repair items, photos, zones) with full offline support. Zone Run Starting Delay — Running a zone during an inspection now shows a "Starting" state for 5 seconds before the active countdown begins, consistent with manual zone run behavior. Bug Fixes Zone photos not deleted offline — Photos removed from zone issues while offline were still appearing after sync. Fixed. Zone settings Save button missing — Switching to the Runtimes tab while editing zone settings hid the Save button and prevented location changes from saving. Fixed. UI regressions after framework upgrade — Resolved oversized inputs, incorrect modal backgrounds, misplaced back buttons, extra spacing in bottom sheets, and zone list overflow. Inspection search bar hidden on load — The search bar on the inspection list was only visible after scrolling down and back up. Fixed. Offline inspection showing blank screen — Opening a cached inspection while offline showed a blank screen instead of saved data. Fixed. Empty state missing on inspection list — When a controller had no inspections, the empty state was not displayed. Fixed. Keyboard "Done" button not visible on Android — When adding a photo caption, the Done button to dismiss the keyboard was hidden unless the hardware back button was tapped. Fixed.

A loss of time

I like the app it help me a lot but recently i am having trouble on turning zones “off to on”and the app says that is a pending instructor working on it and it don’t make sense because I am the only who can get access to my account and I am like why they don’t say for example “ loss connection with controller “ or something that makes sense

iPad

Just had this installed, told it ran well on iPad by several employees that installed system. Cannot even run a manual zone on an iPad. Needs to be reworked for the iPad big time. Regret the system all together

New version is getting better

Old review first, keep reading for update:

“When you re-designed this app, did you consider at all homeowners (non-landscape professionals) who rely entirely upon mobile applications to access SmartLink? Your “streamlining“ completely killed off my access to the logs I used regularly. I also need the app in order to use a hose here. I thank you for adding in more time choices than 5 friggin minutes max, but I need you to add still more, 15 mins, 20 mins, etc. Thank goodness my iPad doesn’t automatically update applications or I’d completely have lost access to logs that I value, but I don’t feel like lugging my iPad around the property every time I need to water.”

Update: since the “Programming: Make remote changes to controllers” option went from “coming soon” to being available, I was pleased to find that my logs are now available in that section! Thank you. I also like that I can now turn the system off via the app. I have noticed that I don’t get errors when I send my commands to the controller. Well, maybe random errors here and there but nothing like before this version. The cleaner “run manual zone” interface is pretty good, I’ve learned to appreciate it I would request if you could add a bunch more time options. I would like a 15 minute interval, at least.

Ruined

I can no longer control our systems with this app. I occasionally need to turn a controller on or off, but can no longer do this, or much of anything.
