If it ever works it’s for the first pitch and then stops working. After that you have to end the session and start a new one. Usually once you start a new session the app crashes and you have to start over again.

Don’t buy

It was saying I was throwing the ball 10 mph and then it said 95 mph. Not worth setting up for misreads.

i dont know if i have to buy premium but whenever i try to set this up on my phone it doesnt alow the camera to line up with the pitcher and home

When compared to pocket radar, results are totally different! It reads an 12year old as pitching in the 65-70mph….. doesn’t matter which mode being used (game or practice), have changed light sensitivity, went and remeasured pitcher height to make sure correct….

Needless to say quite disappointed in this app.

Thanks for your interest in SmartPitch. The app is not designed to show you the camera. It measures speed and hitting stats with high precision and displays that live on the app. Therefore the fact that you do not see the camera or a video image on your phone when patented SmartPitch is measuring speeds does not mean it is not working. That's the way it is supposed to work. Thank you!

activation process could be improved.

the activation link must be opened from the phone email not desktop email. i wasted 30 minutes until i realized it. cumbersome process. lots of unnecessary bot checking also.

Doesn’t even work

Did what I needed to set up correctly. After starting the sessions and my athlete throwing 20 pitches nothing popped up. Tried again and same thing nothing recorded or saved waste of time, effort and app

Update: watched the tutorial and did it again with his coach and still zero readings. Closed the app again and gave it one more shot. Seriously not worth it. Shouldn’t have to email support to get an app to work it basic functions.

Doesn’t seem accurate

I purchased the premium version last year so that I could measure my sons growth as pitchers and not be bound by the pitch limit. Last year when I tried the app, it had my oldest son throwing about 10 mi./hrs. slower than what other radars that coaches had used on him and this year when I took it out to test his speed. It had him throwing 20 miles an hour less than what they had last year. I love the app in the sense that it keeps logs of outings, and the voice announce speeds is awesome. Would love to get this thing running close, if not accurate.

Unable to sign up

Have tried this app a few different times. It was okay at best a few times but I found it not worth the set up times for inaccurate readings. The inconsistency with readings along with dead sign up links make this app a waste of time.

I went to download one more time try to again and the sign up link isn’t working. I get the error:
If you are the developer of this app, ensure that your dynamic links domain is correctly configured and that the path component of the URL is valid.

NOT ACCURATE

i’m 13 and i throw high 60s. I tried it to see how accurate it was. It clocked one of my fastballs at 89.3mph. I haven’t even reached low 70s yet🤦🏻‍♂️.

Doesn’t even work

I’m outside and I set it up the way the it’s suppose to with light and a brand new ball and it doesn’t even say the speed of the pitch I have set it up 30 feet away from the pitching moun STILL DOESNT TELL MY SPEED like just do better bro😒

Not accurate

I love that you guys tried to create an app for pitch speeds but I’m 13 and it said I was throwing 80-90s but my or a month ago was 66
