Passe plus de temps à proposer des app. inutiles qu’à afficher le résultat, qui plus est complètement « caviardé ». ChatGPT fait nettement mieux.
Excellent OCR
This is a beautifully simple app that works really well.
I receive a card every year from an old friend who always writes in French. I could read the French except that his handwriting is largely illegible.
I tried many apps in the app store. Only two others had OCR capabilities as good as this one and they were both expensive subscription models. I am perfectly willing to pay but, as I probably only use it once a year, it has to be reasonable.
This app doing just what I wanted and being free to use was just a bonus.

Seems bad
Asked for review before I could even figure out controls. Looking for app to translate as I write. I have to save the translation pic the. The translation? Annoying and can’t see translation in app . Will take far to much memory to be useful

Très mauvaise reconnaissance de caractère…. Résultat presque totalement inutile…. Les documents essayés n’ont pas été reconnu (10% et avec des fautes)
Not very useful in the real world
It recognises handwriting ok, but some corrections are understandably needed. The biggest problem is that it also removes all of your formatting (returns, paragraph breaks etc.)
Even if you reformat it again at the correction stage, it ignores all of that again and just dumps one big block of supersized text into a pdf which is then uneditable.
The ability to change font size and retain just some simple formatting would be a game changer for this app.

Maybe this app will become an expensive app one day. It will probably still be worth it, but for now, being free, it’s too good to be true!

Much better at this than other apps that I tried, requiring much lighter editing. Love that I can then export the PDF. All this free, unlike other apps. Truly, incredibly grateful for this app!!! Please continue this and never stop!

Can’t recognize anything...
Saved me hours
I was able to turn 17 full pages of cluttered writing into text
Of course there were plenty of errors, but that’s understandable considering I have the handwriting of a small child. Going through and fixing the mistakes is much faster than typing it all up from scratch
From what I saw, it was all free and there was nothing asking for subscriptions

I’m not very busy with OCR yet but it seems a good app.
