Works briefly, then goes dead
Got one Smartshaker 3. Worked just fine - and then stopped pairing or responding after about 12 weeks. Charged it and reset it, nothing. Changed chargers, tried on different phones, nothing. Figured it was a lemon, and got another one, which has also stopped working after about 90 days. But this one won’t even turn on, much less pair.
What’s worse is there’s no help. No email address on the website, nothing in the manual. Hoping a one star review gets the company’s attention.

Keeps dropping Bluetooth to my iPhone
Don’t recommend this. It keeps dropping Bluetooth on my iPhone. I have to delete the app and start over. I’ve missed many alarms because of this.
No Russian language
Need to add Russian language. There will be Russian language and I will delete the bad review.
I’m having trouble with ILUV
I can’t delete it and reboot! No reboot at all

Das Gerät wird hier nicht bewertet, es ist technisch gut und praktisch. Ich kann es bedenkenlos empfehlen.
Diese Software ist jedoch ausbaufähig:
1. Eine Integration oder Nutzung der iOS Wecker-App ist wohl nicht möglich. Zumindest hätte ich erwartet, dass bei Alarm/Vibration des iPhones der Smartshaker3 auch reagiert.
2. Der Wecker lässt sich nur rechtzeitig physisch am Gerät selbst stoppen. Die Stop-Funktion innerhalb der eigene App erscheint erst, wenn die Vibration des Smartshaker3 beendet ist. Warum?
Ich bin wach und der Smartshaker3 vibriert mit der definierten Dauer fröhlich weiter und lässt sich nicht rechtzeitig mit dem iPhone unterbrechen?!
3. Es gibt keinen „richtigen“ Stop-Button am Gerät, nur einen Snooze-Button. Warum kann ich zumindest den Snooze-Button in der App nicht als Stop-Button definieren? Ist der Ein-Aus-Switch am Gerät der gewünschte Weg? Soll das Gerät wirklich täglich neugestartet werden?
Info: Den Smartshaker3 habe ich zwischen Bettgestell und Matratze reingesteckt und es weckt definitiv gut.

No dark mode
This is to be used at night and the white screen is very bright. This seems illogical to me.
Weak vibrations
Sometimes it works great but sometimes the vibrations become weak, even when fully charged and updated. It is hit and miss with this device. So convenient that I can travel with this, yet not satisfied with the intensity of vibrations.
Great idea product, app almost there
The product works great and is exactly what I need for a deaf and diabetic child. It wakes them up with plenty of shake. The app is really simple to us. My only suggestion is a way to shut off the alarm from the notification instead of needing to launch the app.
Not working
Device didn’t vibrate when I received phone call or text. Something wrong with app. Tried do everything including uninstall and reinstall

Fix your app
My smartshaker3 works fine however this app is horrible. I am tired of my smartshaker3 not working randomly. I have an AP exam tomorrow and i need this app to work desperately. I reconnected but it keeps saying my smartshaker3 is not in range WHEN IT IS THIS IS SO INFURIATING. Please fix this app, it’s so i convinent. everytime the app doesn’t work i just have to buy a new one because it’s too tedious and sensitive and the FAQs do not help at all.

Terrible app.
I’m very disappointed with this app. I’ve had the Smartshaker 1 and 2. 1 was great but a bit faulty. The 2 was incredible, reliable, had actual alarm SOUND, and was slim. It broke and I miss it so much because the 3 is nothing the 2 was. The app is SO horrible. It needs massive improvements. Sometimes it just doesn’t go off. Then whenever you go into an existing alarm to change the settings, you change it all and save and nothing is saved. Then I have to go back in and adjust the settings again and then it will save. That is just very annoying. Even updated it where the update claimed to fix this bug. It did not fix it at all. I am also just genuinely disappointed this does not have sound. I’ve been desperately looking for a smartshaker 3 because this one is so disappointing but iLuv doesn’t even sell them anymore. Please fix this app so that I don’t just chuck it out the window.

Won’t pair
I’ve tried all week. I’m in after hours call & it won’t pair. I need to depend on it. I updated the app. I restarted the phone. I checked the wifi connection. It won’t pair. Are there iPhone models that no longer support it? iPhone SE & iOS 16.3
Big Issue
I’m tired of setting a alarm and the first time it don’t even set I have to set it 2x for it to take.
Disappointed
Can’t get to the section to set time it keeps telling me to turn on Bluetooth but it is on and the SmartShaker3 is connected isn’t there a Munro call for help, I removed app and added back I deleted from Bluetooth and reinstalled but I can not get this to work, very disappointed.,,
A little buggy but still good
Although it is a little bit buggy when setting the time for an alarm (having to enter the time twice), overall the stability of the smart shaker and the app itself has improved a heck of a lot in the last year. This thing is a lifesaver for me!
Alarm Won’t Stop
I have mine under my bed and sometimes the app won’t say an alarm is active but my bed won’t stop shaking and I’d have to flip my mattress in order to hold the button and reset the alarm. there should be a fix for this. it usually works but this is annoying when it doesn’t.
ALMOST does what it says on the tin
My alarm mostly goes off when it’s set, but it also tends towards a mind of its own — like tonight when it went off at 3am. Why? I follow the troubleshooting advice, I turn things off and back on again… yet somehow the app and device are out of synch and have their own ideas about my sleep schedule. Very frustrating.

Great product, but needs improvement
This is a great product! I love how it connects with my phone and that it runs on rechargeable battery. When the electricity goes out, I don’t have to worry about the alarm losing power. The app is fairly easy to navigate, however, improvements to the app need to be made.
When setting multiple alarms, I wish I could sort them by time or by days of the week and by time. The alarms are sorted only by titles “Alarm0”, “Alarm1”, etc., which are based on the order it was originally set. I require multiple alarms to fully wake me up. Sometimes, I don’t need an alarm turned on, but, because of the times out of order, I have missed turning off the alarm and being woken up when I didn’t want to be woken up.
The other improvement I want is when the alarm goes off, I want to navigate the “Off” and “Snooze” buttons on the main screen of the phone immediately. Currently, I have to access my phone using the phone’s security feature, open the app, and wait until the app interfaces with the vibrating alarm. Sometimes, the app does not interface with the vibrating alarm and I have to get up, find the alarm between my mattresses, and manually turn it off.
This is frustrating, especially when this wakes up my spouse when I purchased this alarm to prevent this.
When those two improvements are made, this alarm is deserving 5 stars.
