About
Smearpage is a passport-page journal for the ink that actually landed in your booklet. Each smear is one border stamp: the country on the mark, the booth or hall, how you crossed (air booth, land crossing, harbor gate, or rail hall), the entry date, an optional exit date, a photo of the impression, navy crimson or black ink, the booklet it belongs to, and the page number. Ink ages on the page. A fade clock counts days since entry and moves a stamp from crisp to smudged, then ghost, then almost unreadable. Trust the clock or override the grade after a re-ink check. Open a smear page for the fade meter, a margin note, and a one-line reading you can share. Stamps are listed in time order so you can press a new one or open any page. Country index groups stamps by nation with no map. Passport books keep current and retired booklets with issue year. Ink desk sets paper warmth, accent ink, fade reminders on the stamp list, and whether page numbers appear.
