Garbage

This app is complete garbage in every way. Horrendous user interface. They put a tiny edit button next to a tiny delete button. It’s slow and barely has any features besides the absolute minimum for turning lights on or off. No updates. Looks like it was made years ago by high school student and then abandoned by the company.

AVOID!

We got this app years ago when we installed our outdoor lighting. It is terribly out of date, clumsy and inadequate. The iPhone app only allows you to turn your zones on and off. You cannot schedule or change the schedule. The only way to do that is to go online to the Smrtscape website which is ridiculously inconvenient.
As others have noted, there should also be no need for a bridge from the router to the equipment. This should all work directly via Wi-Fi the way all of our other apps do.
Management of this company clearly does not give a hoot about customer satisfaction or they would have upgraded this long ago.

Intuitive and useful

This is a great system. There are many app’s out there for lighting controls but this one seems to be well designed and thought out. Love it!

Terrible

App does not work, pairing does not work, user interface is horrendous, and the web app does not work any better.

Poor, thoughtless app

The app only appears to enable turning your zones on and off on a timer. If you want to program them to turn on and off automatically during the week you have to go to their website. Unbelievable!

Very buggy and unstable

Both app and website are buggy and unstable. Server was down for several days without any notification to users. Basic forgot password function doesn’t even work.

Dimmer

No ability to dim lights.

Really cool

Controlling my landscape lights and holiday lights from my phone. Can control other things too.

Just Ok

Product works as expected so that’s a plus but the approach is dated and complicated. Why require a bridge to my router? Why no configuring the system in the App (has to be done through a browser)? Most of all, why no integration with Alexa, google home etc? That’s a pretty big flaw. In short a very simple and inexpensive smart plug from Levitron or others does all these things and it’s UI is more straightforward. Maybe I’m missing some important feature that smrtscape provides (maybe if there were different lighting zones on one controller?) that Levitron doesn’t but I haven’t found it so far.

Google Home or better Alexa integration

I’d really like to treat these lights like my other lights integrated with Google Home, Alexa, or Samsung SmartThings. I should be able to say turn off all lights and have my patio lights turn off.

Multiple User

Easy to install and Operate but cannot have multiple users? The whole family has to use one code and one access! weird

Also customer service is open from 8 AM to 6 PM but if you call p.m. are you get is the recording and they hang up on you, on every department in their telephone tree!

Great Product Overall, App Needs More

I've been using the light controller for about a year now. They control my lawn light LPCUs easily. I wish the app had more options, such as schedule configuration and adding more LPCUs. I'm giving this 5 stars cause the product is top notch, easy to use and setup with little fuss. App could use more.

OK for the Job.

Thumbs up for the 15 min button. I would give them another star if they would support IFTTT for Siri/Alexa/Google Home integration.

Unique light logic system, works flawlessly because it's Radio frequency controlled.,
So simplistic control from your computer or your phone,

Good Product | Good App

The analog timer on our landscape lighting system died, and I asked our landscaper if there were an Internet enabled version. He came back with the Light Logic unit as a replacement.

Very easy to install and setup, although it uses a very different technology approach.

A sending unit is installed in the transformer control panel, and the receiving unit is plugged into a router via an ethernet cable. This seems a bit more cumbersome than using our wifi system, but works fine.

It is very convenient to be able to turn lights on for an extra hour or two when we are entertaining from my phone.

Good product and app!
