SMTP Tester Pro

SMTP Tester Pro 1.7.0 connects right away, and tells you exactly why when it doesn't. The default settings and every predefined template now use the encryption your provider expects, and errors show what the server actually replied. - Correct TLS defaults: new settings and all ten predefined templates now use Require STARTTLS on port 587, so Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and the other providers connect instead of timing out. Predefined templates fill in only the server settings and keep your addresses, credentials and message. - Servers without login: turning off "Server Requires Authentication" now really skips the login, so you can test relays and local test servers. The login fields are hidden while it's off. - Clear error messages: errors say what went wrong instead of showing a generic code, and include the server's own response, for example why a login was rejected. A missing or invalid sender address is caught before connecting. - Private logs: passwords and access tokens are no longer written to the transaction log or to error messages, with every authentication method. - More reliable sending: the app stays responsive while it connects and signs in. Messages use standard line endings, and a line containing only a dot no longer cuts a message short. - Cleaner logs: every log opens the same way, server replies are no longer listed twice, line colors match the legend, and hiding timestamps now works with a 12-hour clock too. - Stronger protection: template backups use stronger password protection; importing them requires version 1.7.0 or later, and older backups still import. If Face ID can't unlock the app, your device passcode can. - Polished interface and fixes: every field on Home is labeled, TLS options are grouped, alerts have clear titles, and the How To guide covers HTML, attachments and custom headers. Fixed a crash with an empty sender address, templates saved by early versions reappear, and the Rate on App Store link opens the App Store. Thanks for using SMTP Tester Pro!
