The snake you already know how to play — rebuilt with a quiet, elegant look and one thing added: somewhere to put your score. Steer the snake, collect food, grow longer. Catch the golden star before it disappears and take +5. Hit a wall or your own tail and it's over. That's the whole game, and it has not needed changing since 1976. THREE LEADERBOARDS See where you stand in the world, in your own country, and in this week's league. THE WEEKLY LEAGUE Every Monday at 00:00 UTC the weekly board resets. Last week's champion starts level with everyone else. If you missed your run, there is always another week. FAIR PLAY, TAKEN SERIOUSLY Scores are checked on our servers before they enter a leaderboard. Impossible runs do not make it in. A ranking is only worth climbing if it is honest. PLAY WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT No sign-up, no email, no permissions to grant. Pick a nickname and you are on the board. Signing in with Google or Apple is optional — it only exists so your name and score follow you to a new phone. NO BANNERS IN YOUR WAY Nothing ever covers the board while you play. There is a short ad between some games, and one you can choose to watch if you want to carry on after a run ends. Never in the middle of a game.
