Hi! The trained model support a subset of snake species +300 at current time. We are planning huge updates like using a photo from the phone, more snake species, upgrades to AI algorithm. Now the image classification works by converting an image from the camera in real time to the closest similarity of supported snake species. We appreciate your time and trust. We don't ask for data to protect our users. Thanks!

Hi an apology for your experience. I worked 500 hours to train the model and it recognizes by inferring with the trained data from a limited number of snake species as the Support URL (list of species supported). The inferring is in real time to converts the image provided by the camera to the closest reference to the snake specie. I'm planning to make a huge upgrade in the Data and the AI algorithm. Thanks!

You can follow the support URL to know the snakes that currently recognizes. We are planning in making strong upgrades to the app, to include more snake species and to enable recognition with image file. Thanks!

First of all thanks for the comment. The app takes the image provided by the camera in a current millisecond and makes the best inference, take into consideration that our trained model only recognizes a few hundred snake species. We are working hard to make some upgrades like using a photo previously token and recognize 99% of the snake species, but please take into consideration that is really a hard work, in this app we spend 500 hours organizing and training the model. Appreciate your support, and all futures updates will be free

Hi first of all thank you for the comment. The app makes an inference of the image in the precise millisecond provided by the camera and makes the best inference possible and maps the provided image with the current snake of our trained model, we make some tests and the inference quality is good for the trained AI species. We are working hard in making great update to support +3000 snakes, but is a lot of work. Currently the app only recognizes a few hundred species. You can check our support URL. This app is in an alpha state and we will publish a new version update with no extra cost for the buyers, but take into consideration that is a really hard work to make an update, but we will do it the soonest we can!
