About
Your iPhone folds. Something is walking across the fold. Close it.
Snap! is a reflex game with one control, and the control is the hinge. Bugs cross the crease from both sides. The jaws fire the moment the fold passes 40°, and you open back past 110° to reload them. That is the whole game.
The timing is the point. Shut it early and you catch nothing but air. Hold your nerve until three of them line up on the crease and they are all worth more — and a jewel beetle on its own is worth five ants.
THREE SPEEDS
Stroll sends a few across, slowly, and forgives four of them. Scurry is the one to start on. Swarm puts ten on the board at once and gives you three lives to hold them off. Each keeps its own best score, so moving up a speed doesn't cost you the one you already set.
NO FOLD, NO PROBLEM
On an iPhone that doesn't bend, an on-screen Snap button stands in for the hinge. It traces the same arc and waits out the same spring back open, so the timing is the timing either way.
Finish a run and you can share it as a card.
No accounts, no advertising, no in-app purchases, and nothing to read but the rules. The game makes no network requests at all, so nothing about how you play leaves your phone.
