Calorie recommendation??

I was surprised that this app suggested I should only eat 1400 cal per day for maintenance. Based on all my research, this is really low for an active adult woman. I was also surprised that I am unable to edit the suggested amount.

Response from developer

Hello, Thank you for your response. Your daily basal calorie need is calculated based on your age, weight, sex, height based on well known scientific formula. We also display your burned calories if you allow to your steps (agan based on your biological metrics). If your daily intake is less than sum of two, then you are losing weight and vice versa. We may still put an option to edit it in future releases. Thank you for feedback!
