About

A cranked ratchet is never even. It starts slow, races, and dies away. SnapClack puts your photos on exactly that rhythm, so every cut lands on a click instead of on a metronome. Pick photos — as many as you like. Pick a ratchet, a camera shutter, or record your own. Get a vertical 9:16 video, ready to post. EVERY CUT IS ON A CLICK The clicks are found in the recording itself, and the frame changes a hair before each one — which is what reads as exactly on the beat. NO PHOTO IS EVER DROPPED At full speed a ratchet clicks faster than the eye can read a frame. SnapClack skips the click, not the photo. NOTHING IS CROPPED Each photo is fitted whole over a blurred copy of itself. Or switch to 1:1 or 16:9. THREE WAYS A FRAME CAN LAND Classic swaps the whole frame. Stack drops each photo onto a growing pile. Table scatters them across the first shot. RECORD YOUR OWN RHYTHM From the microphone or an audio file. Trim the take, tune the sensitivity, and see where every cut will fall before anything is rendered. Or build a shutter sound from scratch. SEE IT BEFORE YOU SAVE IT The preview is the real render, only smaller. Scrub it, change the effect, then save to Photos or share. IT NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no upload, no server. Import, planning and rendering all happen on the device.
