What's New in SnapcookIt
1.2.0
May 5, 2026
napCook 1.2 — smarter weekly deals, smoother shopping lists, and a tighter, safer app. What's new: • Smarter Ukens tilbud — the new semantic offer matcher is now the primary path for finding weekly deals on your ingredients. Brand-aware matching knows that "ost" should not return random specialty cheeses, and Tilbudsmiddag suggestions are dramatically more accurate. • Pantry-essentials section ("Har du dette hjemme?") on the shopping list — salt, pepper, oil and dried spices show up in their own bottom section so you can confirm what's already in your kitchen instead of buying it again. • New permanent add-item bar on the grocery list — tap and type, no modal, no extra tap. Add several items in a row without losing focus. • Smoother shopping-list animations and a from-scratch rebuild of how amounts are merged across recipes — no more "litt salt" silently disappearing. • Live-updating My Kitchen — recipes added from anywhere (snap, shared link, circle) appear instantly. • Multi-brochure deals — when a chain runs more than one campaign in the same week (e.g. REMA's CRAZY DAYS + Uke 19 + Matlyst), you now see offers from all of them, not just the default brochure. • Better AI recipe images — fixes for pizzabunn being mistaken for pizza, basil leaves and chili flakes invading every pizza, salsa prompts injecting steak, and birria/composite dishes losing their identity. • Security hardening — your account uses a per-user PocketBase token instead of a shared API key, fresh-install Keychain entries are now wiped, and we deduplicate optimistic recipe inserts against realtime updates. • Smaller polish: pricing screen themed and localized, recipe on-sale card no longer feels tappable, settings tile to clear the offer-match cache, plus dozens of small fixes.
