FAQ
How does SnapDash work?
SnapDash turns your surroundings into a game board. Secret items are revealed, and players race to find them by pointing their camera at the object. On-device machine learning verifies finds instantly.
What are the different game modes in SnapDash?
SnapDash offers Quick Match for ranked play, Party mode to race with friends, Family Play for one-device fun, Dash Run for solo challenges, Today's Hunt for a daily shared experience, and Practice mode.
Can I play SnapDash offline?
While some modes like Quick Match and Party require an internet connection for real-time play, solo modes like Dash Run and Practice may offer offline capabilities. Specific offline availability depends on the mode.
How does SnapDash handle privacy?
Hunt photos never leave your phone as recognition runs entirely on-device. Party and Ranked modes only sync nicknames, ready state, and progress events, not photos. The under-13 age gate also disables ads and purchase prompts.
Is SnapDash suitable for young children?
Yes, SnapDash is rated 4+ and includes a Family Play mode with picture-first targets for early readers. The under-13 age gate also turns off ads and purchase prompts for younger players.
What is DashPass Premium in SnapDash?
DashPass Premium is an optional tier that offers rewards like coins and cosmetics as you earn Pass XP from matches and Dash Runs. It is designed to be a fair seasonal progression and not pay-to-win.
How often is SnapDash updated?
