Love this abandonware
I have really enjoyed using this app since it was released almost 10 years ago. Every iOS update I check to see if this app still functions. Thankfully no issues with 18.1. Will be a sad day when it no longer works.
Seems just ok
This app was fun. Controls seems limited but useful to a point. Devs promised more updates but have stopped. I wish more was coming. Only a broken URL for app support.

I found this app far better than the more commonly known StippleGen. Really simple but great to use for pen plotters.

I’m impressed at the speed and quality of the results these guys have managed to create. And on top of that, the animations are fun. My only request would be for more dots, and the ability to crop the image in the app.
Amazing Results
I was struggling with demos of expensive photoshop plugins before coming across SnapDot. The UI is simple and the results are so much better than desktop plugins that cost over $100. Additionally, the vector save is a game changer! One note: on my iPhone X the background frame/paper button (I assume that what it is) doesn’t toggle the background but just closes the UI.

Awesome App
I’ve used this app for about 5 years now and it’s just awesome. This app hasn’t been updated for a really really long time which is worrisome. It’s a really great app and I would hate to see it be broken by a future iOS update because it always just works.

A sweet gem
Just got this & tested on iPad & iPhone—what a slick UI! Really beautiful to work with, very intuitive. Initial portraits came out great, looking forward to trying the vector export. Sweet gem, underrated app.

SnapDot is awesome!
If making dots is what you want to do (and I did) SnapDot worked better than any Photoshop filter I could find. I'm a retired professional graphic designer, and had great fun making old-fashioned etching-looking illustrations of bugs and frogs. 😁 Save an image from Photoshop, airdrop to iPad, SnapDot, instantly share back to Mac via airdrop, repeat until happy. Thanks!

I tried to delete this app and it will not leave my home screen. I contacted the developer and his response was snippy and not helpful. He was angry because I was suspicious of the app since it wasn't deleting. I just want help getting rid of it.
