SnapFrame is an on-device AI composition assistant for iPhone. It uses Apple Vision, Apple’s built-in on-device framework, to analyze your viewfinder locally. It does not use cloud AI and does not upload photos or camera frames.
SnapFrame gives clear, practical framing suggestions before you press the shutter.
Powered by Apple Vision, SnapFrame detects faces, subjects, visual saliency, body pose, horizons, contours, and geometric structure directly on your iPhone. It helps you frame shots with rule of thirds, centered composition, leading lines, symmetry, horizon correction, portrait framing, and subject scale.
Key features:
• Real-time composition analysis: get simple, focused guidance while you frame the shot.
• Composition score: see a 1.0–5.0 score with color feedback as you adjust the camera.
• Smart overlays: show thirds grids, center guides, leading lines, symmetry guides, horizon cues, subject boxes, and direction hints.
• 7 composition guides: learn rule of thirds, center composition, leading lines, symmetry, horizon correction, portrait framing, and subject scale with explanations and tips.
• Camera controls: switch cameras, control flash, capture Live Photos, pinch to zoom, and use dynamic focal length buttons based on your iPhone camera system.
• Photo metadata watermark: add device model, capture time, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and coordinates to the bottom of saved photos. On iOS 26 and later, the watermark uses a Liquid Glass style. It is enabled by default and can be turned off in Settings.
• Optional location metadata: choose whether to save shooting location into photo EXIF.
• Portrait and landscape support: capture in either orientation with consistent output and watermark placement.
• Privacy first: all AI analysis runs locally through Apple Vision on your iPhone. No uploads, no cloud processing, no camera frames stored.
SnapFrame is made for:
• Beginners learning photographic composition
• Anyone who wants better everyday photos
• Portrait, street, landscape, architecture, and travel photography
• Users who want camera settings and location visible on saved photos
• Privacy-conscious photographers who prefer local processing
SnapFrame is not a heavy editing suite or a social filter app. It focuses on the moment before capture, helping you make better framing decisions while the scene is still in front of you.
