About
Most food apps ask when something expires. SnapLarder asks what you did with it.
Open a carton of milk and the date shortens. Put the chicken in the freezer and it stretches to months. Scan a jar that says "refrigerate after opening" and it sits in the cupboard until you open it, then moves to the fridge on its own.
That's the difference between a list of dates and something that's actually right.
SCAN, DON'T TYPE
Point the camera at a barcode and it fills in the name, the storage advice, the pack details and the nutrition. No barcode? Photograph the label and it reads the printed date. A whole shop takes about a minute.
DATES THAT MAKE SENSE
Every date says where it came from, read off a label, or estimated from a shelf-life table. You always know which you're looking at, and you can change any of them in two taps.
REMINDERS WHEN YOU CAN ACT
Choose how many days' notice you want and what time of day. A nudge at 9am about tonight's dinner is no use if you're at work.
EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
No account, no sign-up, no server holding your shopping. Your items and photos never leave the device. Barcode lookups send only the number, to a free public database.
ONE PAYMENT
Free for a fortnight with no limits. After that, keep tracking 10 items free or unlock unlimited for a single payment. Not a subscription, and nothing to cancel.
SnapLarder is a reminder tool, not a food safety product. It cannot tell you whether food is safe to eat, always check for yourself.
