AMAING FAST

This program has a feature where you can tell it how many screen caps you want like ours is set to 500 then we can go through and pick the best for marketing. Simply fast and a breeze where as before so time consuming to upload and wait for captures, this is instant results! Amazing!

It does not work with .mov files

Very disappointing. when using .mov files, it only extracts the first capture, the remaining captures are black

The BEST video screen capture app

I have used this app literally hundreds of times over several years to screen capture various videos and movies. Inherently intuitive, easy to use, lots of options on the “how” to capture the perfect screenshot. High Recommended.

Film & animation teachers dream

I used to use ishot to capture sequences of images to show my students from movies. That stopped working with the newer Mac systems. It was hard to find a replacement until I found SnapMotion. This is blazing fast. You set your start and end points, set a destination folder, tell it how many frames you want to capture and shazam! it's done. You can also capture frames individually. Amazing! Thank you developers. They even made it easy to write a review. You don't even need to open App store.

Crashes - can't use

I haven't been able to use this program at all since downloading on my M1 Mac Mini /16gb memory. It only works with low res stuff, not "Best Quality" video links. Which is what I bought it for. Very disappointing.

Unable to export in JPG

I am only able to export image sequences in PNG. JPG is not selectable.

terrific app

Super well designed and effecient app. It is very flexible, and can be modified on the run for many different uses. I spent many hours searching through "subscription" services which were not nearly as well designed, so I was surprised to see the perfect app available in the app store. Don't hesititate to buy it.

Version 5.0 got rid of the image timeline :-(

Version 4.5 is better than the 5.0 version released November 11th 2021 in that it had a timeline of all the images takes from videos. This is a very important feature, critical to the utility of the app. Please bring this feature back.

Works great!

Nice interface. Does the job of exporting images from a video to create a stop-motion like effect. Combined with the sister app GlueMotion you can create a stop-motion like video from regular video. It creates a different look than just speeding things up, because if you do your calculations right you can maintain the same speed, but have the images stay on screen longer.
