Awful to use doesn’t show whole page, for credits so impossible to claim for errors, amending very slow and tiresome.

Updated the app, it logged me out and now won’t sign back in. It’s like you take pleasure in making our lives harder. Sort it out.

Have spent most of the day trying to login and no matter what i do after filling in mu ID and password the login button does nothing. Realised the updated the app yesterday and now it does nothing work. Rubbish app
After latest update, app does not work
I can’t even get beyond the login screen to access the app. Nothing happens when pressing login. Have tried to re register , still nothing.
Update failure
Logging on today 1/12/25. I am asked to download the new urgent update. The download button does not work. I looked on the App Store and fin I’m on the latest update. Open app again, again asked to download urgent update.

It’s time Smith’s got this APP sorted once and for all. It’s always been glitchy and hard to navigate but now I can’t even open the APP to use it. Back to calling India I suppose!
Doesn’t even deserve 1* It’s a pity Smith’s have the monopoly in this business as I’m sure most customers would go elsewhere had they a choice! Is this why Smith’s can’t be bothered to update their APP? Like it or lump it! Where else are you going to go folks?

The title says it all. I have been using the app for many years now and it would seem that having been coupled together by some amateur developers or even beginner students, Smith’s News have not seen the need to significantly update the app.
Navigating from one page to the previous page is so cumbersome that it beggars belief that such a multimillion pound company could get it so wrong. You would mostly be sent back to the Home Page.
Submitting your preference to opt for paperless weekly summary invoice is as dead as a dodo. Trying to get to the tech dept is another war on its own.
From the look of things, the only reason Smiths News put the contraption they call an app together is to increase their shareholders’ dividends and nothing to don with making life easy for their customers. We are all just their cash cows, simple.

I forget my pin try reset it wont let me sing in make me mad😡😡
Developers need to go back to the basics
It’s one of the most irritating apps one can come across in the field of newspaper distribution.
In most cases one can not make claim for missing credits via the app. You are either allowed to claim for zero credit or no credit at all. It didn’t use to be like this.
The app is also agonisingly slow to load up pages.

Worked ok, now like the wholesaler it’s rubbish

Have been trying to register on the app but just keeps coming up saying “loading” & nothing happens ????
Poor and disfunctional
This app could have been a godsend for avoiding phoning India to do an alteration in the UK but periodically the ability to make a a claim/declare an over pack is greyed out so no joy there. So you go to the “Contact us” section and..it actually never directs you to the contact as it is non responsive. I cannot imagine who it was that smiths say gave this app an award. It can only have been some random person on the street. Anyway occasionally it works great, such a shame.

Very bad app I ever come across after fill your detail it’s go dead
Useless!
After making alterations for a title you go back and it takes you right back to the main screen. What it should do is take you back to the list to carry on making alterations. A 5 minute job becomes 30mins.
The other day I changed my quantities for the Mirror and the app decided to alter the Birmingham Mail instead!!! Be very careful with this! I kept retrying and the same thing kept happening.
Also the most annoying thing is that after you have made alterations, Smiths News decide to completely ignore them and keep things as they are 👏 Well done guys great work 😡 Time for shops to stop selling papers I think.

The App is Overdate
Developers not updating the current prices app it self not user friendly but doesn’t surprise me coz smith’s News are waste of time pathetic and can only get worse

When they launched it first time it ok but when they updated the old version it’s gone from bad to worse . Most of the time the app doesn’t open
Not fit for purpose
Broken links, frozen pages. Very poor development and obviously no testing or knowledge of what is linked together. If I could choose zero Stars I would.

Seriously the worst app I’ve ever used. The old one was perfect, but since it was given a new look, it’s basically unusable. I hate it. Actually to the point where I would rather lose sales than use this pile of crap to adjust my newspaper supplies.
New version not user friendly.
The older version was better and easier to use. This update is glitchy. It jumps all the time, it sends you back to the beginning when trying to adjust orders. It is harder to see previous sales of newspapers. Please go back to the older Version.
