I’ve been a longtime fan of Snapseed, and it has always been special for how much it offers while being totally free. The development over the past year though has been amazing. Every month there’s new stuff being adding - film styles, Camera, masking. Truly awesome stuff!
Amazing
Finally, a photo editing app that lets you get the job done without needing a premium subscription. really great when you need to do a few quick edits
High quality resolution
I use a lot of collages made with photographs from old magazines sometimes 70-80 years old, and Snapseed is outstanding in clarifying the features and resolution of the collages so that their quality is top notch.
Doc align for manual scan needed
To me a basic function that existed 15 plus years ago- no AI needed. Free app called Office Lens had it.
Always knew this..
Always knew this would become a great app. When I first tried this out years ago I really enjoyed the basic functionality of it. Fast forward to now… has come a long way. Awesome job 👏

THE BEST
UI Updates Are Increasingly Frustrating
Snapseed is incredibly useful and has been my go-to for photo editing for years, but the unnecessary UI updates are beginning to sour my experience.
By the time I become used to the new layout and features, a new update moves all the buttons and menus around, and muscle memory has me constantly hitting the wrong options for the next few days.

I’m a marketing specialist and publish pictures online every day. Snapseed is the tool I use daily to edit my photos from everywhere, and I’ve used it for years. So simple to use and makes a beautiful difference.
Good, Quick edits.
The new masking tools are very helpful. I wish in the future they can use masks to control blurring. If you wanted to make a background less sharp than the subject for example.

The goat
Honestly, I fell in love with this app. As person who has just gotten into the hobby of photography, I found it hard to edit my photos as most editing programs have a high price point. This app is completely free yet still offers most of the same benefits as other programs. Love it and would recommend!!!

Please remove the childish animation
The “I’m working” animation with the goof ball eyes is distracting and childish. 2 stars off for that, it’s so bad.

Excellent App , used it for many years, but needs the image rotation reinstalled.

I love this app, I’ve been using it for years and it’s a great tool for enhancing and improving even the most boring of photos that I take with my phone.

画像の余分な箇所を削除して文字が読める程度にダウンサイジング可能になったのは画期的な反面,何故かアプリ版Xが入っていると画像が読み込めなくなります。「エクスポート」の後,上の「オリジナルに保存」で元データに上書きしてもファイルサイズは縮小されず,下の「エクスポート」で変更内容を保持したコピーを作成し,元データを削除して漸く成功しました。元データの誤消去防止目的だとしても,この紛らわしさは厄介です。フォト側からだと成功率は上がる反面,タイムスタンプが現時刻で作成され元データから離れた場所に出て来る為,写真側と同様に元データと隣接させる改善が欲しいところです。
