Drone is great but app is trash
Drone operates well not great in the wind either but the app does not work. The tutorial button does absolutely nothing and without the app you can’t use the camera .

This app is almost unusable because most of the bottom controls are invisible because the app doesn’t scale to my iPhone 11 screen size. This is disappointing!!
Great App
This app is easy to use and is very professional looking. I like that they have 3 of there drones are on one app. The drone is a great drone ( Sp 550). It’s durable, has a good camera, and all the abilities work.
Doesn’t work
The app will not connect. Drone works in every way with the remote. Phone connects to the drones network but the app will not.

This is now my 2nd drone that I have owned. The first one was very basic. I needed to learn how to fly the thing manually.. no ‘return home’ GPS or any fancy sensors.
I just started using the SP500 and it is annoying to set up [calibrate compass, GPS.. etc] then when it’s finally time to fly it says ‘unlock to start’ but it doesn’t register fully for a couple minutes usually.
ON A FULL BATTERY - the drone acts like it has a mind of its own. Not doing what you’re telling it to do. The lights (that so importantly tell you it’s orientation) go out randomly and/or very quickly after a full charge(within 2-3 min).
VERY VERY dissatisfied. Very unhappy. Ease of use, quality, user friendly.. all get a grade of ‘F’.

This is amazing
I got this today and I am already in love with it. The app you can clearly see what is going on and it allows you you do so much more. I don’t get what people mean when they say that the app has problems but from my point of view, this app works but just remember for all you morons out there, this app is for a 100$ drone so don’t get this if you don’t have the drone already.

wouldn’t connect
the app wouldnt even connect to my drone and i was connected to its wifi

App continues to freeze and the drone falls from the sky.. this is reoccurring on different phones.

I wonder if all criticisms about the app not working ad crashing the drone were delete. Their warranty page snaptain.com/warranty is 404 not found page when they tell you to register for a 12 mo warranty within 2 weeks 🤷♂️

So far the snap chain has been a really good quad looking forward to more flight time with it good for beginners
