What's New in Snipt
1.1
September 14, 2026
Snipt is now faster to reach and even more private. Here's what's new. NEW Save to Snipt from any app Found a link or some text worth keeping? Share it to "Save to Snipt" from any app's Share sheet — it lands in your history even when Snipt is closed. Siri & Shortcuts "Save a clip to Snipt." "What's my latest Snipt clip?" "Search my Snipt clips." All three work from Siri and the Shortcuts app, even with the app closed. Your Secure Notes and Recovery Keys are never available to Siri, and reading clips requires your device to be unlocked. A little tap The Snipt Keyboard now gives gentle haptic feedback when you insert a clip or snippet. MORE PRIVATE - Vault copies clean up after themselves. Copying a Secure Note or Recovery Key uses a local-only clipboard entry that expires on its own — it never travels to your other devices. - Protected means protected. Viewing, editing, copying, or exporting anything in your vault now always asks for Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode — with no way around it. MORE RELIABLE - Deleted really means deleted: every delete and edit is written to disk immediately, so nothing reappears after a relaunch. - Retention, per-item expiry, and storage limits now apply the moment you change them — and pinned items and collections are always kept, exactly as the settings say. - Deleting a collection asks first, and its items return safely to your history. - Sharing the same link twice no longer creates duplicates. - If something can't save, or iCloud is temporarily unavailable, Snipt tells you instead of failing silently. ALSO NEW ON MAC Summon Snipt from any app with a global shortcut, paste straight back where you were, and keep Snipt hidden during screen sharing. Thanks for using Snipt! We'd love your feedback — tap Settings → Support to reach us.
