Terrible
I used to like this app and used it all the time until the new update. You canโt even download or take a photo if you donโt pay for vip, which is set at a ridiculous price. Terrible app
Terrible new update
Been using snow for nearly 10 years. Itโs been amazingโฆ until this recent 2026 update. The ability to zoom is all weird and unproportionate now, the sizing of paint brushes is strange, and you now need wifi to do very basic editing like cropping or flipping a photoโฆ Please update to fix this again.
Blurry/Pixelated After AR Filter
I love this app and have been using it for years to edit my pics. Recently I noticed that after applying AR filters, our images are becoming blurry/pixelated. It wasnโt like this for many years, so I wanted to share that feedback.

i redownloaded this app to use, and now i see that they charge money to use features that used to be free.

bad changes
ive been using this app for years but they took away the brightening tool for your face and the videos save very glitchy and laggy
Worked fine until the update
Iโve been a member for 3 years now and absolutely loved the app! But recently it stopped working for the body editingโฆIโm hoping itโs a bug that will be fixed!
I used to love snow app but ui is ruined
I use snow app everyday and I loved it but today when I woke up and used it it was completely off. I been using it for 2 years and up until yesterday it was great. Today, itโs like the app update tried to make it โsmoothโ but that just ruined everything. The reshape, manual skin, and paint features are all so annoying to use now, which is all I use. The paint feature is not precise at all anymore, it affects a huge section around the part youโre trying to paint. PLEASE FIX IT I BEG YOU

Wonโt love it
At the start of downloading this app I was really excited in using the fun filters ,but just as I took a picture and proceeded to downloaded it wouldnโt allow me too and said I must need VIP so now Iโm stuck screenshotting my pictures (which sometimes donโt work๐)
camera changes
why is the front 0.5x gone? and replaced with 0.8x? the front camera is entirely useless now. bring it back or iโm canceling my subscription.
weird zoom effect??
why does the front facing camera zoom in now?? 1x is zoomed in super far and 0.8x looks like 1x. it makes the app basically useless for selfies. i have been using this app to save time on colour correction since 2018, have been paying for VIP for years, but this will probably make me delete the app and find something else

I Love the features and all the cute filters, itโs so fun to play with the games and I get to edit my photos to make them look 10x better than before
No longer good
The reason i used snow for so long was because i could use ar filters and there were sliders to turn off the affects that change your face shape so I was able to use ar stickers and still look like myself in photos. That slider is gone and most of the filters change your face now. Iโm done with snow until the face morph slider is back
Update: they still havenโt fixed this and now they require a subscription for their โhiredโ photos which used to be free. Deleting this app.

Lost work because I canโt exit ADs
Having ads is one thing, but having super long ads that last up to 5 minutes, especially ones related to gaming that doesnโt allow you to exit unless you download the games. Itโs super predatory. I have had my work lost because there was no way to exit the ads. Other editing apps have ads too but none is anywhere as bad as SNOW.

Doesnโt save your progress
Everytime I leave the app to reply to a message or just leave to go to my home screen, I go back to snow right after to resume my editing and find that NONE of my edits were saved. As I go back to snow for leaving for like 2 seconds, the app restarts and no changes were saved. Horrendous, given a few years ago it would be saved. But every year it just gets worse and worse. Itโs so frustrating to spend so much time on an app to edit, just for it to not save or crash as youโre editing.
