Great snow effects!
I’ve tried lots of different snow effects apps before and this one has the best snowing effect so far. There are loads of snowflakes and the AR snow looks really good 🙂. I’ve made some selfie Christmas cards with it and think you should add more different frames or maybe filters to the selfie camera, it would be even better then.

The best one of the bunch, great for this time of the year (Christmas). Just a couple of things it would be nice to be able to adjust the amount of snowfall and possibly the angle of dangle as well.
I’m pleased also that the snow looks realistic and not the 6 pointed stuff which may look ok on cartoony types of videos but not photos and videos. I’ve tried a couple of others which only cost 0.99p admittedly but are not as good.
One other small gripe I had a short home made video at a resolution of 4k, I tried hard to keep it as high as I could during making it but after using the snow app it was reduced to 720. It probably doesn’t matter because I think Facebook automatically reduce the resolution anyway like they do with photographs.

Good but 2 gripes
Cant use horizontally to use as a full screen image on an iPad for example
And doesn’t work using a photograph on Facebook as a snowy animation which is what primarily I wanted it for.

Thank you for the feedback. During 2024 there should be a few more updates added to the app to allow more Christmas related planning features and improvements to the photo and video options :)
Crashes
Bought this and it kept crashing when trying to save the gif. So I redownloaded it from the cloud and now it tells me I have to buy it. What a waste of money!

Snow is very mechanical on my pictures, very disappointing.

I liked this app. The advent calendar was a great idea for picking out Christmas movies. The snowing effect is pretty cool too with this being one of the better apps for that out of the ones I’ve tried so far. Cool app.

Worked once / video now half out of frame
Paid the $2 to put snow over videos. The first video I made worked perfectly. Tried again a few days later on another, but the video is way off center with black blank space. Tried removing app, downloading again, restoring purchase... same problem.

Love the snow effect!
I can’t wait until Christmas so decided to get some Christmas related apps for the festive season. I’ve downloaded a few different snow apps and I prefer this one as the snow is actually falling and not just a fixed image added over the top of your picture. It looks realistic too rather than cartoon style snow flakes.
It would be really awesome if you could make it so the snow actually falls on to your face and head when you are using the selfie camera, or maybe add an option for having yourself inside a snow globe for sending as a Christmas card??
Also maybe add some Christmas music to the Christmas tree countdown to Christmas haha. Great app!

AVOID: Paying DOES NOT unlock full version
I paid the .99. It would not unlock full version. Tried to restore, the restore button does not work. Closed app & reopened. Nope. Hmmm, the tech support link ALSO does not work, so I cannot even communicate this issue. It would be wise to remove your app if your “purchase for full features” is broken if you want to avoid being seen as dishonest. I hope I can get a refund. ☹️

It’s cool, but even better if you could make it add snow to videos or record video with it snowing.
Puts a white haze over photos
When it works, and quite often it doesn’t you can barely see the actual photo. Looks nothing like snow either.

UPDATE Needs an eraser and square pic
Great but it needs an eraser and it needs formatting so you can produce square photos with it for Instagram.
Snow covers entire picture. If you have a photo taken from inside your window and you want it to look like it’s snowing outside then it won’t work because it will snow over everything. An eraser would solve this problem.
Even a photo taken as a square is cropped into a portrait rectangle with this app, sadly.
