Pointless App
It doesn’t do anything! Complete waste of time. I paid extra for the wifi model expecting to be able to set and change the schedule remotely particularly as I found the buttons on the actual thermostat difficult to adjust as everything is so small so if you have fingers larger than a child’s you’ll be there for hours. But you can’t do that. The only function I can see is the ability to change the temperature. The extra money for the wifi model isn’t worth it. Stear clear is my advice!

Worst app in history of apps
Terrible from start to finish especially in the winter ofcorse... if i could rate -1 star i would. Dismal

Give one star as I can’t give 0, but this app does not work at all, I have tried so many different ways to connect it to my phone. Once it connects it doesn’t work at all. I have now given up!!!

If I’d have known how bad the app was I would never have got this system. It’s awful, can’t even describe everything that’s wrong about it. Avoid
Unresponsive app that doesn’t work consistently
Have found it’s totally hit and miss whether the app picks up a stat or not (I have 5). Most of the time any changes you make to temperature is ignored and if you do manage to get a response to turn off it’s total luck if you can get it back on. It’s the worst home app experience I’ve ever seen, totally unreliable.

Very poor
I’ve been using the app for 4 months now. It’s been installed in a new house. The wall stats are pretty good when you get them connected to the Wi-Fi as it takes some time to get them all working but the app is so “clunky” I’ve pretty much given up on even bothering with it.

Sorry to say that this app is absolute rubbish. Won’t even connect to wi-fi. Like someone else commented…… don’t bother!
Pain in the backside
50% of the time the app controls the unit, the other half of the time I have to get up and use the stat as the app/stat don’t talk to each other. My OS and app are up to date. Sort it out SnugStat/whoever you are, I wishing I hadn’t invested in your kit.

I used to find the app difficult to use but I love the new update, it makes my underfloor heating so easy to use and I love this update l. Thank you Snug!
Avoid, this isn’t a smart thermostat
Only got these as they are local supplier, the app is terrible and doesn’t have any smart features. I will be replacing them with real smart stats when I can afford them

Abysmal
The heating mat is excellent but this app is a real let down. Constant problems with connection and I regularly need to ask people to go to my house to operate the mat manually.
So bad I’m going to stop using the mat and install a wall heater in the kitchen. Would be zero stars if there was an option.

Useless
Put simply, the App only works when your at home. Anything to do with being away from your home such as holiday mode, geo location etc. simply doesn’t work. Was promised an update months ago - still waiting. If I’d have known this fundamental part of controlling your heating system was so flawed I would have bought Tado thermostats

Kills battery and horrible controller
The app is badly designed. Looks terrible and over a 24hr period used 5hrs of battery with only 1 minute of screen time.
Needs an Update
Needs update to support iOS 15. Also, the duo stat function/control doesn’t fully work. Ie. Hot water timings can’t be set, and no hot water boost control either.
Not good at all.
Could not get the app to link how it says in instructions but got working by just messing about for an hour. Now it working half the app graphics are missing and it crashes and or freezes. Wish i had read previous reviews before buying.

The app won’t connect to the stat unless you wake the stat. What is the point in that.
Controller good, app terrible.
Really nice thermostat, shame about the app. Clunky, fails to connect, constantly uses gps in background unless you close the app. Some alerts are in Chinese. Avoid!
Unbelievably bad
Gets one star only because I can’t give zero. Difficult to know where to start with this truly abysmal app. I tried each of the 3 ways of linking the app with the controller, all failed. I now have 3 instances of the controller on my phone, all with a helpful label saying ‘fault’. I can’t delete any of them. Some dialog boxes appear with only chinese options. Wifi won’t let you register if your wifi doesn’t have a password. Awful, awful, awful, avoid like the plague.
