Great for a mental break
I love hopping on this app in the middle of a hard work day and getting to look at something beautiful or sometimes something scary or chaotic. It still takes me out of the mind space that I was in and puts me in a new head space and helps me get clarity and come back to the work fresh.

way more interactive than I expected
I always liked art but never really knew where to start beyond museums or random Instagram posts. This makes it feel approachable and fun. I love my daily walks and summaries that seem to match my vibes, and then finding artists I like and want to see more from. It feels more like guided exploration. I find myself coming back to this app often!

this is becoming a go to app!
I don’t really get into new apps often, but I initially downloaded thinking “this looks cool”. I’m now using it way more than expected. I love saving pieces to boards and noticing what I’m drawn to and what moods I’m in. I’ve also discovered artists I never would have found otherwise and actually want to learn more. If you like creativity, design, or just need a better alternative to social media, highly recommend soal!

A few moments of peace each day
I love that soal calls this an art walk. It feels like the opposite of doom scrolling and more like a moment of rest. Taking a few moments each day to look at something beautiful, thought-provoking, and completely different from anything else has become really special to me.

I feel better after spending time on soal — the daily art “walk” gives me a moment to disconnect, reflect and reset. Also love building boards of artworks as a way to hone my creative taste without having to feel like I’m learning art or going to a museum.
