Connection is key to getting and staying sober. This app allows us to connect with other moms and learn so many tools useful in sobriety, relationships and parenting.
The pocket friends you didn’t know you needed
I’m not doing this alone is the first thing I realized with this app. SMS gave me a safe space, where I could lurk, then ask a question, then tell my story-and make incredible friends along the way. This community isn’t something that can be described well because you may not believe me. Because these women are all like me. Good humans with a questionable relationship with alcohol. Moms who are tired, yet ready for the next adventure, successful, smart, funny, raw, honest and who all try to live in truth. If you are considering goggling a quiz to see if you may be ‘an alcoholic’ save yourself some time (and stress) and join this community. 11/10 Highly recommend.

This beautiful app has become one of my go-to tools in my sober toolbox. It makes it so easy to join a meeting, chat with a fellow squad member, connect with others, and more! Can’t recommend this SMS community enough.
Worth it!
One thing I Love about SMS is that you can attend meetings everyday, multiple times a day right with your phone or computer. I really enjoy the vulnerability and transparency that is very hard to normally find in our everyday lives. I tried to quit drinking without the group, I had signed on for a free trial, but then cancelled. I quickly realized I depended on the resources, accountability and friendships I made through this group. I highly recommend, and for my livelihood, it is well worth the price.

I’m a single sober mom with a 12 year old son who has special needs. I had no idea that this app and this community existed and when I found out I couldn’t believe what a lifeline it’s been for me. I wish it had been around when I gave birth and was navigating the diagnosis early on. I’m never ever alone now that I have access to this incredible community on this app!! If you are a mom trying to get or stay sober this group is amazing. The app makes it easy for us to communicate and share our journey through sobriety together. There is a wealth of resources, groups and most importantly a way to connect with the moms from the Sober Mom Squad meetings!
