iPhone version stopped working

I have had this app for 7 years now and been absolutely fantastic. I use it between IPad and IPhone but over the last week when I back up on iPad the app on the iPhone has crashed and now unable to use.

By Far The Best

I have tried & tested many football apps to keep a detailed account of my son’s football team and their journey and every app I’ve used fell short! They either didn’t include enough options for the information I wanted to log or it over complicated things and it wasted too much time to try and note things down during the actual match.

Last year I downloaded this app and on 1st impressions it looked ok, it was easy to navigate and there were a ton of optional & detailed game time information you could either use or omit (simply go into “settings “ & “statistics” tab).
After using it for a full season, honest to god I’m so impressed with this app it’s just brilliant.
Whether you just want to log basic in-game info like subs, assists, goals etc or whether you want to go all in and include throw-ins, corners, aerial duals, freekicks, goals per match etc the list is massive.

And the best thing is YOU get to choose, other apps are either too basic or too complicated but this puts YOU in control.

Whether you are a parent taking an active interest in your kids football or a coach needing an app that lets you see your next match, previous results, top scorer, who has most assists, who attended the match, minutes played for every player, the list goes on and on but like I said YOU get to choose what you want to include.

I had an issue with exporting the data saved on my phone to my iPad (the fault was mine granted) so I emailed the app developer for assistance and within 12hrs he’d replied and knew what I’d done wrong and it was sorted.

THE BEST FOOTBALL APP YOU WILL EVER BUY & NEED.

There are a large number of predefined game events and statistics (see below) many of which are initially disabled. These can be enabled from the Settings screen. The game events include “Tackle”, “Block” and “Save'. If these do not fit your needs, it's possible to create your own events and statistics (see more details below). Note that opponent events are recorded against all on-field players. Statistics can include a negative count of an event. Statistics can be marked as 'In Game' meaning they will be displayed on the game screen. Statistics that divide event counts can be displayed as either a number or percentage and can have 1 or 2 decimals.

Data to keep the parents away

I track every game, minute, position each player plays with this app. Very useful when I get questions about playing time. To the point now I just publish my own stat recap. No more questions. Also track many other stats.

The UI can be a little frustrating at times but all in all I can’t watch games without this tool anymore. Thank you!

Easy to use!

Got the app several weeks ago before our season began and had a few questions about it. For some reason my email wouldn’t work for the developer so he took the time to find me on LinkedIn and reached out to me to make sure I was taken care of! Awesome move going that extra mile! I’ve had a chance to use it for 3 games now and it’s so much easier than notes on paper. Give it a try, I think you’ll be pleased!

Good App for Footy Coaches

Been looking for a good app to help with junior footy stats, matches etc.
I can’t help but think that the in-game reporting options is missing a few additions, especially for the defending aspect of the game, things like “successful tackle”, “shot blocked”, “shot saved”.
Is there any chance you could add these as it would it give it a more rounded in-game match reporting.
All in all a very solid app for any parent, coach or manager that is involved in junior football.

Absolutely brilliant for grassroots football

I’ve been using this app for over 3 years now and it’s proved itself to be very useful and reliable with great support from the developers.

One suggestion - would it be possible to have the match statistics tab divided into first half, second half and overall? It’s sometimes really useful to point out to the players if there were differences between the two halves.

A belated thank you for the review. Minutes per game can now be tracked in the latest update, along with a lot of other new statistics.

Great App

I tried 3 or 4 tracking apps, and found this one to be the best. I’ve been using it for 3 years (125+ games) and now couldn’t imagine coaching a game without it. It helps track overall play time, but also with the shift time calculator it helps me to understand player fatigue, so I can make informed in-game moves. Also is great to have game records if a parent ever complains about play time.

Love this app - just one issue

A really great way to track kids minutes on pitch, goals, assists and more. An absolute godsend for grassroots managers trying to make sure kids get equal minutes or at least half a game each. Only one issue - From time to time I forget to press start when the second half kicks off and there is no way to start it with an offset or choose the time of kick off to get the time correct. This then confuses the minutes on pitch and more. Just need a way to fix this

Great for grassroots coaching

This app makes it so much easier on match day to log all the games and assists as well as keeping an eye is each players game time.

Almost exactly what I’m looking for - can’t beat the support though!

I’ve been looking for a replacement for the app I was using as it’s no longer supported. Need an app that’s simple enough to use so that I can hand it off to someone else during the match as needed without needing huge amount of instruction. Checks the boxes I was needing: Manage multiple teams, track team and individual stats, track playing time (easily), able to see the info easily during the game, various views of the data (ind, team, game.) Could there be some additional items but it gets the job done. However, the thing that stand out the most is the support - incredible! Submit a question and get a genuine response from the developer with suggestions / solutions to what you were struggling with. That alone has me wanting to make this my go to app as I would love to replace my other apps that each do something well.

In summary, if you’re looking for a simple to use app that is VERY reasonably priced, gets the job done and has support behind it (when/if needed) this is the app to help manage your soccer matches.

Matchday Essential

Been using this app since 2012. Great app, use it every match to help keep track of events, rotations and playing times. Issue recently with iOS 14 upgrade which developer responded to in prompt and highly efficient manner.

Best Soccer Coaching App

Go-to coaching app, ive used this to track over 120 of my youth games, its simple/easy to customize but also has a ton of features/extras for such a light weight app. Some of my favorites are - stats and stat sorting (to basically anything) and share via xls/imessage/twitter etc.
- live tweet individual events (shot, goal etc.) while using app.
- simple database backup & dropbox support.
RATE 98/100.

Awesome football app

This is an awesome app - I highly recommend using this app. I have been using this app for seven years. I use the app to track statistics of football games, player game times and various other player stats. I have used the app in my capacity as team manager for a number of different teams at various levels of football - school knockouts, NPL1, NPL2, club football and State representative level. I have even used it for Futsal teams. Andrew the app developer has been very supportive in adding registration numbers and birthdates for players as requested and upgrading the app with various other important features. I have recommended this app to many other managers over the last 7 years.

This is Jodi Johnson - I wrote to you a few years ago regarding your app Teammate.
I have been using the app teammate again recently and noticed a that there is a need for stoppage time/injury time/drink breaks to be recorded.
Also with fouls it would be good to indicate the player that drew the foul - at the moment I can indicate the player that committed a foul and the player that took the free kick but not the player that drew/won the foul.

Being able to stop and start the clock for breaks in play is something that others have also requested, so it would be good to include in a future update. Recording the player that drew a foul is not a suggestion I've had before, but I’ll definitely give it some thought. Thanks again - I really appreciate your comments.

Wonderful app & support

I love using this app and have done now for two sessions. The ease of transition for multiple sides and competitions is fantastic.

But, what is even better is the level of support provided by the developer. I’ve had two small glitches using this and they have been very attentive, apologetic and willing to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

Definitely deserving of the 5 star rate. 👏🏻

Needs some more work but best one for iOS

Needs editable date for entered games and players after game saved. Unable to edit date. Bug - game shows on calendar ios but editing date there does not fix date in app.
Get buttons for common items eg goal, possession, assist next to player and team.
Ios 11 works for save to files but crashes on save to image.
Backup works good
Also need more stats eg win percentage for team, last 5 games win loss tie quick view, player goal percentage also left foot right foot stats as well as shot percentage. Show quick view at front end for team and preferred player eg my kid Joe
PDF export ok but missing a lot including graphics, stats and more. Would be great to have more PDF export options ie by player game team and season. For player would include shots R and L with graphic view, stats, game data, game winning goals or assists etc per season
