Needs refinement
Good start to this app however, it needs a lot of refinement. For example, there's no way to undo some thing or delete delete a single element. Your first to drag it out of the work area stacking up on necessary items. Once you select a filter or an overlay you cannot remove it, and there's no going back. Not a very good work element.

Simple, quick and does the job
I was looking for something exactly like this - to post images with text onto social media. The interface isn't standard macOS, but i was able to get things to work (see notes). This works great on my Intel MacBook Pro.
The interface leads you through the process, so it's more hand-holding than most image editors.
Developer - I did find a bug in the text insertion. I pasted a one line quote and it didn't wrap so the text went out past both margins. I had to manually insert some line breaks just to see the text.
Also, the left/center/right justify buttons need checking. Pressing right justify centers, and pressing center right justifies.
I gave it 4 stars since there are some bugs, but this is a fantastic program for this purpose.
