Quick, easy, portable
Downloaded when we needed to run a story urgently (48 hours before a school trip) and our printer was broken. Took a gamble and tried this app - and so glad I did! Not the best with tech here, but this was so easy to use it’s unbelievable. Importing photos - easy. Adding voice - simple. Making the story - no problem! Worked like a charm for my child, despite the new media. So good in fact that I’m keeping the app and adding our ‘on the go’ stories to it. Absolutely recommended.

Awful
I thought I would be able to write stories using avatars, but nope have to take my own pictures. It also says you can share stories and that is NOT true!!!! I paid a lot of money for nothing
My story
I love it because I can use it for my own use I want to be a author so if this the way I can get my story out than that how I’m going to do it
Not what I was looking for
I need something that provides the photos for the social story. Also parents and teachers should be able to print the stories for free. I get charging therapists for bulk as they charge parents for their time while making them.
It doesn’t open!!!
So frustrating
Zero app support
I have emailed this “company” 4 times and have heard nothing back - just an automated email that says it can take a week to get back. It’s been 3 weeks and nothing. Don’t buy this app!
Please Help
I created the perfect and much needed social story for my son for tomorrow, but unfortunately it will not allow me to share it. I keep getting an error message that reads, “ No email client available. it looks like an email app isn't available. Check to make sure you have one installed and configured.”

I’m the autistic person this app was for
Most of the ones they already have are for purchase only and I was hoping for more of a template when creating the social story. But whatever. What was concerning to me is that- by default it has parental controls. What? And you couldn’t permanently turn them off witch really rubs the the wrong way. Autistic teens and adults exist and we use social story’s too.

Easy to Use
Love the app, but I wish it was free or had the option to print one story in the free version to see what the printed story will look like. Very easy to use though.
Good app but difficult to share
Overall the app is really simple and easy to use but everything I’ve made is unable to be shared via email despite many attempts
Don’t purchase
I purchased thinking I would have access to the pictures, however I don’t. Now I have paid $22 and have access to nothing. This price allows me to make my own books using my own photos or pictures. I could have done this in PowerPoint or word. Useless app. For the price I paid I don’t even have access to the stories that are there!

Not bad but……
Okay so I like this app, but once you make two stories, you can’t make anymore. You have to pay money to to create more stories. And it isn’t that fun so yeah. All you do is create a story and then read other books that are like for kindergarten. I do like how you can add a picture to your book, but that’s not really it. I just want to create more stories then that would be a little more fun so please fix this. Or else it’s just going to be boring for everyone. And no one will like this app unless you pay. FOR MONEY. Ugh it’s just so annoying and my mom doesn’t let me buy stuff that you have to pay on games only my own money and I’m just a kid so I’m not wasting my own money just for that. It’s ridiculous. So that’s why I delete the app. Because it’s so boring

App is great except it’s not free
I made a story and tried to send it but there was no OVERT message to indicate u can’t really do anything with the app unless you pay $$. Which is cool, I don’t mind to spend the money but what about the recipient? Do they also have to pay $$ to open it and read it? BumMER

Amazing Social Story App - However....
It pains me to write this review as the product is amazing - when it works. I have used the app personally (I have a child with special needs) and professionally ( with clients)for several years now. It has been an invaluable tool for creating custom social stories on the fly. I have recommended it to countless educators, parents and SLPs. Unfortunately, after an iOS update in December 2020, the app is now non-functional. Support from the developers was stellar until Jan 2021. Since Jan 2021 I have sent approximately 20 emails requesting help (emails and requests for support through their website) but there has been zero follow-up from the developers since. It is now June 2021, a full six months later and no follow-up. This once invaluable tool is still non-functional. I am at a loss as to what to do in this situation. Super frustrated and disappointed.

Awesome app and exceptional customer service
This is a wonderful app. You can create your own stories with own pictures and videos. Customer service is great. I was having issues with family sharing and I reached out to the company and they were extremely helpful. Highly recommend this app.
Great app but can you just let people make endless stories?
This is my favorite story app and it is number one story app but it’s not all that fair to not make endless stories so please let us do that and make ads in it so we can get a lot more like it’s a real free app and put in this thing where you have to put in a code to unlock something once a day or make a wheel that spins and click the button that says stop to get a unlockable in-game

Can’t be printed even after purchasing the story . Overall costly if u want to print
So I purchased a story for my son and realised I can’t print it unless I upgrade $22.99 for that $1.49 story . I do not like my child to use my phone / thus it’s better to just buy a book instead for that price
Fantastic functionality, super easy!
I never review apps. I know I should, but I don’t. This app is an exception. It is superb! Very, very easy to use. There’s a free version that you can download, and you can make a few custom social stories with it. And there are a couple of tiers of paid versions that allow more stories in your library and various other nice features. Get the free version to try it out. If you have a non-conversant or communication-challenged loved one, I bet you’ll end up buying the full version and using it all the time. So awesome!!
