I went on to this app. and there is illegal drugs being sold on this site. I donβt know how to tell the app. Of this. But if you see what age this is appropriate for it says 4+.

I joined and signed in then all of a sudden it asked me to sign in again and I enter my info correctly and say itβs not correct idk why happened

Downloaded app and i set up my account and it disappears wants me to do it again, after finally creating an account did my first item to sell and it disappears after i enter it...didnβt sell anything but i sure got agitated

Once you post an item, you cannot update it. You cannot change the price or pictures. If you sell the item, you cannot delete it. It's stays on forever. This app shows your EXACT location to the whole entire world. Selling a valuable item? Don't be surprised if you get robbed in the middle of the night. You can't delete your account. There's no comma symbol on the keyboard. Pictures are cropped horribly and the best part: You pay $2 to post while 5miles, OfferUp, letgo and every other selling app is free. For my own safety, I drove down the street and updated my location and deleted the app.

Will not create an account
Just purchased it because of a web review recommendation then try to create account and it is stuck. I should have heeded to 2/5 star review and walked away.

Unhappy with this App
First of all, I will say that I have sold several items on here, but not worth the headache that comes with it! Seller beware!! You may sell your beautiful designer bag, get it to your buyer within 3 days.....don't plan on seeing your money anytime soon!!! It can take up to 21 days for Tradesy to release your money! My buyer personally called and confirmed delivery and authenticity and a week later......no money. Not worth it. I am done on this app...too shadyβΉοΈ

App requires you to sign up for an account, even to browse. You can only search your area by enabling location services (no option for entering your city or zip).
The problem arises when you list an item. Unlike other apps that only show an approximate 1-2 mile radius around your location, this one pinpoints your exact address for the world to see. Even worse, there is no way to delete your listing. Deleting your entire account doesn't even accomplish this. Designed by idiots. Deleted the app and my account - not that it matters.

Impressed
Just updated my app and love how efficient the app is. Was easily able to search for furniture using the filters and mile radius. The selection of items has increased dramatically! Will be posting some stuff soon as I get ready to move!
Great Selection of Items
Just updated my App and I am impressed at the quality of items! I downloaded the app expecting to see a lot of garage sale type stuff but this is much more high end. I'll definitely be browsing and keying an eye on the inventory.
I deleted this app
I deleted this app because I don't want to sign in with my information just to view items. It kept bothering me to allow push notifications. I always turn it off because my phone will be ringing off to he hook with all the apps I've installed. I like this option and not like being forced to do it. A lot of other buy, sell and classified ads apps automatically goes to the homepage so I can search categories before signing up. I'll check on this later to see if it changes and hopefully I can give it a 5 star rating.

Best way to sell your stuff
This app is so much more clean and simple compared to trying to sell your stuff on Craigslist or the Facebook trading groups. I don't have to monitor several groups and can easily sift through the categories. Search is speedy in the new update. So much better than dealing with a popular trading group where your items are instantly buried. Recent updates have made it even more slick and easy to use and I notice more and more people selling in my area. Trying to tell all my friends about it anytime I hear they are selling something in hopes this app dominates craigslist/Facebook as it's so much easier to use.

Also lets you communicate directly through the app so you don't need to give out your email or phone number. Recent updates help provide a smoother experience fixing some of the earlier bugs.

Great Idea!
My first use of SocialSell was purchasing a Macbook charger after my dog had chewed mine up. SocialSell is a great app because in a way it combines Craigslist with Instagram. This makes it much easier to navigate than craiglist, and like instagram you can follow people (that offer great deals)! I plan on using the app for birthdays or during gift giving season to get some affordable gifts!
