Scam alert!
This app is pretty good- if it were free or reasonably priced. The problem is they will charge you $23.99(!!!) after two weeks without asking you or even telling you the price. There’s way to get a refund. Not cool.
Buyer Beware!
They renewed my subscription with no prior notice. Also there is no way to contact customer service through their app. Terrible way to do business!!!!
Unusable
The pop up that nags you to subscribe can’t be closed
DONT PAY FOR SUBSCRIPTION
I see my 2 star review is in the minority. I really don’t get why people think this is worthy. I paid for a subscription… not a smart decision. They charged for an annual fee and then when I realized I could find all of this info by simply GOOGLING “cheerios sodium” and get better results, I immediately realized i’d been duped! Once you get the hang of what you can and can’t eat, and just focus on keeping each meal under whatever threshold you want, YOU DONT NEED THIS APP. If you want to track what you are eating… use a spreadsheet app, or Notes app or whatever. This app is a waste of money.

Sodium Levels from List
How is the list of foods to select from populated, and the sodium leaves verified? I’m concerned when I see similar options with no distinguishing description with vastly different sodium levels for the same quantity.
Downside
Relentlessly bugging for a paid upgrade.
Paid for no food database????
I don’t understand why the food database has no data in it. So now I’m paying for no access when I could get that with the free version?
Useless
Will only allow 3 ingredients per meal to be added before it starts demanding payment.
Simple Helpful App
Adhering to a low sodium diet is nearly impossible if you're not monitoring your daily intake. This app makes it simple to keep track.
Buggy and crashes a lot
For the lack of functionality this app is a ripoff at the price they charge! Can’t even get a refund! Steer clear of this app!
Outstanding sub
Their tuna sub in my opinion is the best. Try it with cheese.
Like it, but could use more functionality…
I would like to download food item from database to the daily log (as is the case now) but I would also like to add it to my favorites as an option at the same time.
I also wish that if I pick the wrong item in the food database and back out then it kicks me back to the log. I would like it to just go back to the “add sodium” screen.
But I love the simplicity of using this app

App for s good but could be better
I have been using this app to track my sodium levels for almost 3 months now. There are times that the bar scanner will not scan the barcode, it’s usually the short barcodes, or it comes up with the wrong information on the sodium levels. It would be nice to add the ability when creating a group to be able to set the total sodium for all the ingredients in a dish and then set a serving size. That way you could select a dish and then select the number of servings to be added. (Ex. A spaghetti dish I have used has a total of 1080 mg of sodium and the serving size is 1/2 cup. Which makes that 180 mg per serving. It would be nice if the app would take all the ingredients and then ask what the serving size is and do the calculations for you. Right now I have to add it all up and then go back in and manually change the sodium amount so I a correct amount that I am using.) An update to the app with this suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate the simplicity
Was looking for an app that would let me track solely sodium, without being asked to enter in additional info like calories, portion size, etc. I like how this app lets me very quickly enter an item in without asking me for more info.
Sodium Tracker
Looks this will help me greatly!!!
Bar code doesn’t work
Disappointing the bar code scanner doesn’t work so you have to search each product - then it’s a wonky adj to find an amount to match the sodium listed on the package. Nothing as simple as picking 1 serving. But the it’s better ten nothing for tracking.
Martin
I live with CKD (Cronic Kidney Disease). I am 52 years old and have stage 3B. My goal is to avoid dialysis as I age. I have been vegan for six years, but it’s very easy to cheat on sodium via chips, French fries and/or any processed foods. I find I either lose track of the amount of sodium in my head or I just lie and justify eating the food. I LOVE that this app is simple and holds me accountable on a daily basis!! I believe this app will help extend my quality of life. Thank you for creating this app!
Sincerely,
Martin Abdo

Great app
Boomer here. It could not be easier. I did get the pro version. I feel the yearly cost is fair.
Nice, but expected more with Pro version!
I love this app that helps me track my sodium intake. I signed up for the pro account to make it easier to search and quickly add items to my dairy. Unfortunately, the food database doesn’t allow me to add items directly to my dairy. I have to enter everything manually, which I find very frustrating (especially after paying for this service).

Like except Goal reset
Love the ease of use with Groups and Favorites. Purchased the Pro version to get salt from similar items and meals.
Please, change the goal feature to allow option to retain history plus option to apply new goal to my history or retain history with old goal.
Currently changing goal deletes all history.
