About

One iPhone for every computer in your home. Sofatap turns your iPhone or iPad into a touchpad and keyboard for Windows, Mac and Linux, including the gaming PC connected to your living-room TV. Switch between them in one tap. EVERY SCREEN AT HOME Install the free Sofatap receiver, scan its QR code once and give the device a name you'll recognize. Your desk PC, your Mac, a Linux machine and the living-room gaming PC stay in one list: pick one and keep going. Gesture preferences are kept separately for computers and TVs. If you switch with unsent text, it stays on your iPhone and you decide whether to send it to the new device. Rename or remove a pairing at any time. MOVE, CLICK AND SCROLL With the default preset, slide one finger to move the pointer, tap to click, or hold for 0.3 seconds and move to drag. Scroll with two fingers or the strip inside the touchpad’s right edge. Choose a gesture preset or customize taps, double-taps and holds in gesture settings. POINTER SPEED Set pointer speed from 0.25× to 3× in gesture settings, for precise work or fast moves across a big TV screen. TYPE OR DICTATE Use the iPhone keyboard or supported on-device dictation. Compatible native Windows and Mac text fields synchronize typing, edits and recognized speech as you go. Other fields use a draft you review and send. Sofatap does not append an extra Return after your text. Line breaks you include may be handled as Enter by the destination app. YOUR DEVICES, DIRECTLY CONNECTED Input travels over an encrypted connection on your local network. No Sofatap account, cloud relay, subscription or in-app purchase is required. Built-in dictation stays on the iPhone and requires a supported device and language. The computer's picture remains on its TV or monitor; Sofatap does not stream the screen. REQUIREMENTS An iPhone with iOS 17 or later, or an iPad with iPadOS 17 or later and the free Sofatap receiver for Windows, Mac or Linux. Both devices must be on a reachable home network, and the computer must be awake and unlocked. Mac requires macOS 15 or later and Accessibility permission. Linux support depends on the desktop and its input permissions; Wayland is experimental. Unsupported fields, including many browser and custom controls, use review-and-send; Linux and older receivers use this mode. Smart TV control is in beta. Supported TVs pair from the same device list; available navigation, pointer and text features depend on the TV and the app on screen. This version provides manual control, not autonomous AI operation.
