What's New in SoKal

1.1.37

August 18, 2026

Trips are quicker to add. Picking your dates is now two simple steps with a real calendar, instead of one crowded picker. More room to breathe. Every day in month view got more space. Flags for where you're headed. Countries with a trip booked now show up on your flag row, dimmed until you've actually been. Friends' calendars, on yours. Add a connection's calendar to your own grid — you'll see exactly what your privacy settings with them already allow, nothing more.

Solves the “let’s connect next time I’m in town” problem

Everyone says it. Almost nobody follows through - not out of flakiness but because it’s a lot of effort to track people down and find out if / when they are available. SoKal solves that by taking the work out of following friends and determining availability. Just set it up and get alerts when you and your friends are in the same place and both available. Awesome!

A Fun Way to Stay Connected

I’ve really been enjoying SoKal! I love being able to keep track of my travels while also seeing when friends are nearby or planning trips. It’s made connecting with people feel much more natural, and the app is super user-friendly. Definitely one of the more unique social apps I’ve downloaded!

A fun way to organize your life!

SoKal has been a fun way for me to take my calendar to the next level and keep track of places I’ve been to/new places I’m going. It’s also cool to have my friends come in on my upcoming trips with recommendations of where i should go/what i should do/what i should to try to eat.

Happy customer

So convenient to use and update friends during travel!
