Old and tired app
App needs a lot more work, when will you at lease add songs and artists while they are playing, this isn’t even available on Sonos or even the website. Get it sorted. Some people like to still purchase music...

Th App itself is fine, the issue arises when you move from wi-fi connection to mobile connection or vice versa. streaming stops. another issue is that you cannot hit play button to restart music from locked screen. hence 3 stars
Dose the job but boring!
This unlike other reviews this is a review of the app not the radio station. The app is FREE and works fine. It sits sideways on my iPad and won’t rotate when I’m using it. Plays Solar radio but there is a little time delay on iPad with the feed. You can bring up a schedule for shows on the day and that about it. Dose the job but boring radio player.
The Jazz fm player will list every song playing and gives you a picture of the album it comes from. Helpful if you want to find or buy the song. There is even a drawing of the presenter as their Show is on.
Come on Solar do something more interesting with your app please!
You can also listen to Solar on the FREE Radioplayer app with all the radio stations on Sky and local stations not on Sky. That is the best option for Solar radio at the moment.

Great soul station with cool presenters and few ads. Plays well over good broadband with no buffering (well it does on mine) It's my go to station every day...and no I don't work Solar Radio.

Had this app installed on my iPhone for a number of years , I listen to this radio station everyday, but since updating to the iPhone 7 , the app hasn't worked !! Please update !!!

Best radio station for jazz, funk, soul
I've been listening to Solar for over 10 yrs. IMO no other station comes close for lovers of classic and new r&b, soul, funk, jazz, dance, electronic music and hip-hop. The DJs are experts and very knowledgable about their music. Tony Monson, Dave Brown, Les Adams (he has a great podcast for his sat show) are just a few of my favs! No commercial crap stuff here -

This is a good app if your on a wi-fi hotspot or indoors (but then I'd be listening on sky), but out & about it's pretty useless. I prefer the old FM in the car, & in London B2B on 88.6FM does it for me.
