Inappropriate Permission Requests
This app is ok, but I am put off by its request for Location and Local Network access, neither of which are necessary. The app also doesn’t seem to treat microinverters as equal to DC input when looking at production and charting for some reason. My main issue, however, is with the invasive permissions (the app still works fine without them and there’s no reason why they would be needed).

App keeps saying connection times out
What is this? Was working fine and now it’s not connecting and no option to do anything. It’s just frozen. No way to communicate an issue as the report a problem is written in mandarin I believe.
Solarman taped
The software is not fully explained. It does not show real time. It updates every 5 to 6 minutes. The system connection points do not match the software connection readouts. not sure if setup not done properly or not. To down load other software from the company is not an easy task. Requires information not accessible to the home owner therefore can not download it.

Can’t connect to my inverter
App won’t connect to our large wifi network because it cannot parse an SSID with a password containing a character ($&@+%).
The wifi network password must only be letters A-Z and numbers.
Our wifi network passwords all contain characters, and we cannot simplify, and make less secure, to accommodate Solarman bad app design.
