Hello? People? Why are we using this app for countdowns, when it’s literally RUSSIAN MADE and a violation of OPSEC???

Love using this for my soldier who is on deployment as well as myself while in military training.

This app will not open for me at all.

I use this for my boyfriend in jail and it definitely helps keep track and shows how fast the time is going by ❤️

I really love this app. It’s a great way to count down your loved ones deployment or basic training or whatever you want!! 10/10 for me! Probably the last time I’ll use this app tho😂but it’s great tho!

there’s “no privacy info on the app” which means an app developer can….
1. Track your every movement… or where ever your phone is. Even if your APP is closed.
2. Record ALL of your calls
3. Get access to your all the photos on phone and use them for face recognition or worse… the black market
4. Sell your data
5. Knows exactly when your service member will be home… to the second.

Made my a Russian Developer
the soldier timer everyone is using is made by a Russian developer?
I did a little digging…. Because I wasn’t sure if it was Russian or Ukrainian…And that this developer is banned in Ukraine ( this was before they invaded)
and that there’s “no privacy info on the app” which means an app developer can….

If I was a tricky Russian hacker/spy. I would 100% make a cool tracker that American military families would placed all their sensitive info in… about their service members and that they would carry around in their pocket every single place they went…
I wouldnt need to do anything thing else. I’d have all the data I needed… to do anything I wanted….

Please don’t put your service member at risk
NATO intelligence has put about warnings about this app. It is owned by a Russian dev and asks for highly sensitive information while having no privacy protections in place. Just by downloading it you can put your service member at risk, and far more if you actually put in all the sensitive info it asks for you. Remember OPSEC!

Cool app, should change the name to military timer or something since the army is only one branch of the military lol
Not A Good App
This app is owned by a Russian software company, and you are not keeping your service members safe if you use this app. They can track where they are, track the time they have left until they come home and it is extremely dangerous. Please do not get this app, go for any other countdown app, just not this one! OPSEC is SO important!

Soldier Timer
This is a great app that keep you alert how many days, time left till graduation date. Specially when you are unable to connect with your Recruter. I recommend it to Marines/Soldiers parents to keep good track of your child while in boot camp.

Nice deployment tracker
Good tracker. I especially like the widget, it just shows at a glance the percentage, how many days passed and how many still to go. In the app itself you can switch between days, months, or weeks or choose to show all three (plus hours and minutes and seconds)

I have multiple trackers and this one is my favorite. I love how it shows everything and lets you know how many days are left until 50%

It was working fine now every time I open the app it crashes and sends me to the home screen.
