The best app for keeping a secure diary
Needs a lot of work
Solid diary’s AI is asking me to share some information - but there is no way of communicating with it other than making an entry then hitting the AI button.
It asks me to tell it things but there is no way to do it
If I can’t reply - why does it ask me too?
It suggests using browser tools, to copy text but there is no web based version of the app.
It suggests disabling Mood analysis, but I can’t find a way to do it.
It’s training on itself seems to be non existant.

Great Journal/Diary App
Solid Diary is just a great no-nonsense useful Journal/Diary App, and excellent value too. It has all the important tools you need for writing, imaging, audio input too, the AI is like a friend and an advisor, just so helpful, it's a real plus for the App. Well done developers.

I love this company
I love all the app from this company but the journal is amazing! I am not a writer but I find it so easy to use and I can express myself in a way that feels natural! Days when I am having a tough time I will write as many enteries as I need! I love how simple and easy it is to use and that I can add pictures and other things so quickly and easily

needs some work
Not happy with the way it crops the photo. Should show the whole pic. Also the small changes for a better month should allow you to check the list off each day. Seems pointless otherwise!
It does what it says and you only have to pay for it once
I appreciate that you pay for it once, and it does not have the a monthly fee. It does exactly what it says, and the AI reflection is very helpful.
It could be more personalized with design, and the prompts. But the core of what is needed is there.

The Right App
This Diary App is exactly what I need fr my journaling. It is easy to use and connects with my Mac, IPad and IPhone.
Simply the best...
...and I have tried a lot of journaling apps. (First and foremost, I never thought I would give up pen and paper.) I love this app because it sticks to the purpose--to journal. It's not a planner or to do list. It is all about your thoughts and feelings. And, at least for me, the AI analysis is usually spot on. With Solid Diary, I have a personal therapist. lol
They charge a VERY reasonable fee for the opportunty to use this wonderful app to reflect on your thoughts and who you are. And then you receive a very insightful analysis of your thoughts and advice for any problems you may be experiencing.
I highly recommend it.

Beautiful but concerns with privacy
UPDATED THOUGHTS: Changed to five stars because the developer kindly addressed my concerns over security. Makes me feel much more comfortable.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: It is a truly beautiful and easy to use application but the privacy policy is very vague. I wish there were better information about how user data is handled, other than a simple statement in the product description that user data is encrypted. Does that mean end to end encrypted or other? It's hard to feel comfortable with such little information available.

Hello, I’d be happy to share more details. The app uses 256-bit encryption and only you can access your data. The encrypted data is stored in Firebase and the app uses AppCheck also to ensure only legitimate app users can use it. And again only the rightful owner of the data can access it and decrypt it. Amazing
This is an amazing app, the AI is like a personal councillor- unbiased, it takes all you’re information and analysis it in a very down to earth way, non judgmental and even suggests things to help you cope with some things.
It’s a great way of keeping a private diary with pictures if you wish, so easy to use ( a must for me)……

Should of been called a Therapy diary, the AI is invaluable though I didn’t plan on using it.

Solid diary
What can i say, a good app and great value for money. I’ve kept a diary for many years and this app sits well alongside my regular journaling app. The developer is really approachable. I’m a blind person who uses voiceover and i couldn’t see the time i had created an entry i could only see the date. I asked him about this and within less than 24 hours the issue had been sorted. I can not only see the date, i can now see the time i created an entry and i can change the time if i need to. I’m so impressed with this and look forward to using it for many years.

The best looking journal app
I love the look and function of this app and all of the other apps from Solid Apps. I had questions about the way the privacy and security were handled this being a personal diary where one would potentially input very personal details. So, I emailed Solid Apps and asked about the privacy and security and received a fast response detailing how the data is encrypted and how it is handled for the various Solid Apps.
I am satisfied that I can use this app (and the others as well) and know my stuff is secure.

Fantastic Value For Money With A Great AI Twist
I’ve been looking for a good journal app that doesnt charge ridiculous in app monthly purchase charges, a friend of mine came across this by accident. I paid the 4 quid installed and within about 5 mins of my first entry and having AI review it I knew this was money well spent.
It’s clean looking, and has all the basics, the dev clearly seems to have ideas for moving forwards with it and also has a suggestions board which is just lovely to see.
Yeah, I honestly cannot recommend this enough and I wish the dev every success for this app moving forwards.
