Disappointed

I'm so disappointed regarding the cost. I used this daily with my first child to ease anxiety around serving food. I physically cannot afford now I'm maternity.

Paid

Everything you can do on the app you have to pay for it’s a waste of time don’t bother downloading it unless you want to pay to use.

Too expensive

I think it’s such a shame how expensive this app is for new parents who are on maternity leave and on reduced incomes. I can’t justify the price. I thought it would be a really helpful app at an exciting time for my baby’s development, but it’s just out to make money which is really disappointing.

THIS APP IS A NIGHTMARE!

It’s such a shame that this app can not get it together! The information is amazing but the app itself is AWFUL! I can’t remember the last time I used it because every time I would try to it would just crash. I ended up cancelling my subscription and guess what? THEY STILL TRIED TO CHARGE ME. Now it says I basically have to pay to cancel. Ridiculous. And the customer service? Nowhere to be found, yet the Instagram is fully active making posts and replying to comments.
You’re better off just googling the information rather than using this app.

Great information, but navigation could use help

I am enjoying trying solids with my baby and thanks to this app it very simple. My only gripe is confusing navigation — age-appropriate recipes are somewhat buried, favorited foods aren’t easy to find, and planner isn’t necessarily useful. In the age when everything is an app, I want to have less features, not more.

Great reference

As a board certified Pediatrician, I realized I didn’t know the details of HOW TO feed my child. This app is an excellent resource to any parent who wants to raise a child that eats diverse foods! I recommend to patients regularly.

Crashes out more than my toddler

I bought 1 year subscription to use it daily to log my food and get the right info. It was working fine for couple of months but it has been more than 3/4 months now that anytime I open the app, it will crash on me. And in the event that does open when I look for foods it will crash again. Recently it logged me out and when I put in my credentials it wont log me back in. It has had the loading screen for about half an hour now. I logged in the webpage version and it doesn’t have any of the progress or foods I logged. Also, the couple of months it did work - some features like introducing allergens didn’t work well. For example, even though the peanut butter schedule was on day 2, it would revert to day 1.

Honestly, the app needs better maintenance. I see you marketing on Instagram all the time and you need to put more effort on maintaining the app.

Also, this experience isn’t just issues on Apple. My husband has the android phone and app which has the same issues.

Money Hungry

I hate to say I feel that way, but I do. I decided to buy the book first when I saw anything of use in the app would cost money to unlock and unfortunately the book has minimal useful information and instead, repeatedly refers you to their app. The thing is, so many of us new moms are so worried about doing solids right, that as outrageous as $100 a year is, I’ll pay it for the peace of mind for my child. It just doesn’t feel good or ethical to be charging what they are and seemingly cutting off access to a whole demographic because they can’t afford it.

Trial Cancelled - Still Charged

I did the 7-day trial and requested to cancel the same day. 7 days went by and I was charged. Attempted to get a refund and was denied.

Nice for ideas, logging food is confusing

Lovely for ideas and shows you beautifully how to prepare it all. But for logging foods, there’s too many options for the food alone vs a “meal” version vs the allergen logging. As a parent with a child experiencing allergies, logging is so important to keep track and this system is confusing. Especially because the info on this app pushes hard on the introductory of allergens early. The badges are not great either, just add to the confusion/guilt? App would majorly benefit from simplifying and better visual to grasp where your child is at currently.

Login required - why?

1. The app first asks users if it’s a “five star experience.” if yes, it directs them to give a review here on the App Store. If not, it directs them to a website to write feedback privately. This warps ratings.

2. Login required. Absolutely no reason other than selling your info for marketing.

3. More and more foods behind a paywall.

Overpriced

This app looks great - however £20/month while on maternity leave is absolutely obscene and doesn’t leave this app very accessible to most families, such a shame

Helpful

I didn’t find it as helpful as I had hoped. Many of the ingredients weren’t readily available in Asia, and I was hoping to see more visuals. There also weren’t as many recipes as I expected.

The part I found most helpful was being able to search for a specific food and see how to serve it based on a baby’s age.

Great for starting solids

Loved this app my first baby and using it again for my second. It’s so scary to know how to serve foods and what foods to serve your baby. Their chart on how to cut the food for what age group is literally a life saver and gives you so much confidence giving your baby new food!

Paywall

Beware everything is behind a paywall. Kind of tired of the baby industry trying to make a buck off nervous first time parents around every corner. Anyone who spends $20 a MONTH on this is throwing away their money.

not worth the money

No useful information there that you can't find online in two clicks... Waste of money really. Recipes are bare and nothing exciting. Wouldn't recommend

Reference this all the time for baby led weaning! Highly recommend.

App issues

Worked great until a few weeks ago, why charge $130 when the app logs us out and we lose all of our data. That was resolved and now the app won’t move past the intro screen. Not too impressed with the recent updates.

Is there any explanation as to why a 100dollar app is just not working?? I click into the food and its just loading forever

Best app for introducing food

This is my go-to. The resource I trust the most. I especially love the “how to serve” option
