If you are serious about guitar, you need this app
I use Solo every day. I run just 10 minutes of fretboard drills and 10 minutes of interval training over various scales. You can use it with a metronome to gauge your speed and improvement. Thank you for creating such no nonsense application for people who are serious about learning to play the guitar.

Essential for serious guitarists
Essential for interval visualization, can’t wait for what they’re gonna bring to this app in future updates.
About the app
It’s really very very helpful full to visualise the fretboard, it will enhance the experience to understand fret in to a different dimension… it’s awesome… love to practice guitar with this application… I m also big fan of Tom Quayle…
Très utile
Une super application pédagogique et le meilleur moyen pour tout travailler
Would love sheet music training for note names
Hi! I love the app, its a great way to memorize the note names. I have one ask for the app: can you include sheet music notation for the note trainer? I am trying to learn how to read so it would be helpful. Even for people who don't care to read, an option to add an octave marker (E3 vs E4) would be helpful, since that can help you figure out which E's are the same and which are different, for example. I think having a note marked on sheet music is the best option as it is very visual, but let me know what you think! Really like the app otherwise, let me know what you think

Valuable Tool at Many Levels
Improved my fretboard knowledge and my soloing abilities. Much easier now to flow to the right next note.
Great app
For my money the best fretboard/interval training app available.
Hidden costs and buggy
The app itself is okay. It helps with visualizing the fretboard and memorizing intervals. However, it has problems detecting the correct notes, even when properly calibrated and tuned. If you play faster than 100 bpm, note detection decreases significantly. This puts the app’s main purpose internalizing chord structures whilst improvising at faster tempos into question.
What frustrates me the most is that I paid for this app but still cannot use its core feature: playing the correct chords over specific chord progressions. To use my own chord progressions, an additional in-app purchase is required, which is not communicated anywhere. In my opinion, this is a huge no-go and feels like a scam.

Not what I thought it would be
I thought this was to help learn the fretboard without holding the guitar or even requiring a guitar. I thought this was to learn finger placements by having a virtual fretboard.
Brilliant app
This app is simply a great tool to improve your guitar playing. This relies solely on your knowledge and helps to improve your fretboard awareness so you can focus on getting a good foundation. I would love to see a user area where you can upload your own exercises and tips or a few pdfs so we can get the best out of the app .

could be better
For what it costs, I was expecting more. Some things that feel like no brainers to me: showing the note on the treble clef, and showing the fretboard for scales. Something that would be nice given the technology is giving a reference note and then asking to find another note (interval ear training). Also, a way to gamify it (e.g. streaks, quests) would be nice to have a sense of reward. Overall a decent practice tool to start learning the fretboard, but given that it's paid it could be a lot more.

Best Guitar Practice App!
4 Stars, because I have one suggestion: it would be very helpful, when you have already a top niveau on the guitar, if the App could show you how many notes you have played in one session! So one could see his/her progress!

This is a wonderful app to train the intervalic functions and for beginners learning the notes and relations on the fretboard

Best for practice
I still use this till date to get back to my basics and the best 15 min of the day for me.
The tool I was looking for to understand the fretboard
GOT TO SAY that the fact that I know in a second where and what I’m doing on which notes feels incredible, and it’s NOT TRIVIAL AT ALL. I recall a few months ago when I was frustrated, and I didn’t know how to memorize the fretboard, let alone understand why triads appear the way they do or how to form one on the fly. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that obviously others know it, and that I’m not an idiot, but I couldn’t figure out how to train myself. SOLO totally paid out for that. Add to that the real power of solo understanding intervals, and WOW, I think this was the single most powerful and breakthrough improvement I had.
One thing I hope they add is statistics to see how fast you find whatever notes the app asks you to. THat would help visualize the improvement.
