It’s great, but some feedback

First off I think the penalty after failing to complete the daily mission should be applied the next day. I didn’t complete my daily yesterday and all I got was a warning. I think there should be an extra hard workout the day after you miss a day. Like some high rep light workout or a long run(this could be according to whatever the player’s focus is).

Next is the tailoring of the workouts. I can do 20 reps of pushups reasonably well, and that’s what I answered in the calibration, but that doesn’t mean I can do that many dips. I got a daily today that was 14 dips. I can’t even do a single set of two. Maybe make the calibration include a few other workouts other than pushups. Because the amount of pushups you can do doesn’t apply to other workouts that work other muscles.

I also think the calibration should be a quest itself to test your strength. For example for the pushups it should tell you to do as many pushups as you can in a single set. Next as many sit ups as you can, then dips, then curls if the player has dumbbells and pull-ups if the player has a bar. Next have them time a mile(or ~1.5 km) run. Then count the calibration test as their daily quest, so they can rest for the rest of the day. And it would be cool to have reminders to recalibrate every once in a while so workouts stay relevant to the player’s ability.

No pressure to actually implement all of this, because I know it probably won’t be easy, but if you can get it implemented you’ll get my fifth star lol.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. Some of the changes are coming in next update thanks to you!

Great app!!

I’ve been enjoying it. So many new features added since initially.

App is fun, creator is great :)

I’ve been loving this app! It’s a ton of fun and helps me and my roomie stay accountable. I’m very new to working out, so the workouts bring easy at first and gradually increasing in difficulty has been amazing! I won’t lie, there are glitches. It’s buggy in places and can be a bit difficult to use for certain things. However, when I brought this to the attention of the app creator, he responded almost immediately and went to find solutions to the issue! He was very kind and given that I’m pretty sure he’s the only one working on this app (or it’s a small team), I think it’s excellent. Give it a try!

Note: there is a subscription after level 10, but it’s only $5 a month and to be honest I believe that’s fair. Like I mentioned, it’s either a small team or just one person and there’s no way they could keep working on this app without any funding whatsoever. You can also keep using the app without paying, you just no longer level up. Also, paying monthly does indeed keep me quite motivated lol

Complaint

I was enjoying this app and gave it a 5 star until I updated it and noticed that I can’t go beyond level 10. This made me dislike it. I will love if you can remove the subscription please.

Response from developer

Hi Shadow Monarch, thank you for the feedback. I understand that seeing a level cap can be disappointing. To keep the app running, provide regular updates, and ensure a high-quality experience without intrusive ads, I use a subscription model for our premium content. Building and maintaining Solo Hunter: Level Up requires significant resources. I appreciate your understanding of why we can't make the entire experience free. I'm committed to earning your trust and looking for ways to serve everyone. Thank you
