Horrible App
I love the bank but the The app is too clunky and not very smooth. I liked the old app better. It was much easier to navigate.
Frustrating.
Ever since this app was “updated” (which means everyone lost total and complete access to their account balances for several days) it has been far less user friendly and helpful. It is down so often sometimes I drive to the atm to get a balance because I know it could be several hours before it’s up. Disappointed.

Credit card issue
The only thing I do not like is when I pay for my credit cards, I have to wait for a period of time in between each payment.
Latest update needs help!
The latest update that took us all offline for 2days is a complete disappointment. It’s sluggish. Sometimes it works sometimes it just spins. For bill pay why do you have to scroll up to enter your payment amount? Why wouldn’t it just take u to that entry?
No Landscape mode
The most recent (and major) app update in late 2025 no longer allows Landscape Mode…WHY???

Since the update Face ID is nowhere to be found, I get more ads than any other app, which when banking aren’t you supposed to feel secure? The sideways cards at the atm was one thing but this? Because of the lack of user friendliness I am going to close my Solvay account. They are way too much hassle

It never was great and it just got worse, I can even look at my balance without waiting for at least 10 minutes. Increase your app budget!!!
App and website so bad
The app and online banking website are so terrible. Clunky, glitchy, features don’t work, limited on what you can access, never remembers FaceID login. Makes me want to leave the bank

I understand that safety is a premium with banking but this app disallows Face ID every 5-6 months. Just long enough if you use the app for one specific thing to forget your password. It’s bulky and nonsensical when you are in the app, too. Not a fan of it.

Copies of checks in Recent Transactions
I looked for a canceled check today to file for a reimbursement and they are no longer showing as available for me to view a copy. That is a big inconvenience and if it was eliminated to streamline the program or something, it is a big loss for me, please put it back.

Very good with one exception
One improvement would be to allow customers to see more history on their accts.
Save ID
SAVE ID SHOULD DEFAULT TO OFF instead of ON. Make it simple to TURN OFF SAVE ID. THE ONLY WAY TO TURN IT OFF IS TO DELETE THE APP.
You have to remember to turn it OFF every time you use the App. The most annoying and frustrating is that once you sign in with Save ID ON, it automatically saves it to ON. Even if you slide it to OFF before entering your password it’s still saved to ON the next time you access the app. The only way you can successfully turn it OFF is to delete the App! Please take a look and consider a fix.

Cannot use with older phone
I am not able to use this app without updating, but the update is not compatible with my iPhone 6 operating system. Not only is Apple forcing consumers to spend money with updates, but apparently Solvay Bank’s
