About
Choose the light and sound of your cue and look back over your nights.
Inside the mask, four infrared sensors sit around one eye. We detect eye movements under the eyelid that accompany REM, and the mask decides on its own when to cue you. Its light flashes, and the sound you chose plays on your phone. Use the cue as a reminder in your lucid dreaming practice.
The app works with a Somni Mask Pro, connected over Bluetooth. Without one, NIGHT LOG on the first screen opens an example night.
• Wind, the default sound, starts almost silent and slowly builds. Two chimes is the other built-in sound.
• Add your own sound from an audio file in Files.
• Turn the cue volume to Off for a light-only cue.
• Set the light's color, its brightness down to off, and how quickly it flashes. You see each change on the mask as you make it.
Night watch starts when the mask connects, and one switch turns it off. While it runs, the app charts cues, eye movements, and head movements, and lists every event under the chart.
The app also reads the nights saved on the mask and keeps a record of every Night watch. You can share any night as a file.
Night settings sit on the main screen, finer ones under Advanced. Tap Apply to save changes to the mask, or Discard to drop them. The mask keeps what you apply through a restart. Reset all settings fills in the factory setup for you to apply.
No account, no ads, no analytics. Nothing goes online: your nights, sounds, and settings stay on your device and the mask, and a night leaves only when you share it.
The light flashes close to your closed eye. If you have epilepsy, have had a seizure, or are sensitive to flashing light, talk to your doctor before using the mask.
Somni Mask Pro is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

• New built-in cue sounds, Wind and Two chimes, take the place of the 1.0 sounds. Wind is the default. • If your cue used a 1.0 sound, it now plays Wind. • While you pick a color or brightness, the mask lights up to match. • Night watch now starts by itself when you connect the mask. • A simpler main screen, with finer controls under Advanced and a Reset all settings button. • Tap NIGHT LOG before connecting to see a labeled example night.
