Sona: Pets

Sona is the owner app for battery-free NFC pet tags. Build your pet's digital passport on your phone, claim your tag, and get notified when someone taps it — finders open a simple webpage in their browser. No finder app required. YOUR PET'S DIGITAL PASSPORT Add a photo, temperament, contact options, and situation presets (Everyday, Travel, Medical Alert, With Sitter). You choose exactly what finders and caregivers see. Your tag stays generic — your pet's details live in the app, not on the hardware. SCAN ALERTS When someone taps or scans your tag, Sona can notify you right away so you know your pet's tag was opened. REPORT MISSING Switch to high-alert lost mode and optionally reach nearby Sona owners who opted in to neighborhood alerts. CARE LINKS Share a time-limited, revocable link with sitters, vets, or boarding — only the fields you pick. APPLE WALLET Add a wallet-ready pet ID card from your passport (when configured on your account). PRIVACY BY DESIGN Sona tags have no GPS. We do not continuously track pets or finders. Location is used only when you choose to share it — for example your home area for neighborhood alerts, or a one-time GPS reading when reporting a pet lost. SECURITY Optional Face ID sign-in help protect your account. REQUIREMENTS • Sona owner accounts are for adults 18 and older. • Sona NFC tags are sold separately at sonatags.com and are required for scan alerts and the full owner experience. • Finders never need this app — they use any smartphone to tap or scan your tag.
